Zitat von a wonderful life

The molerat is new to me. There is also a demonic version of the waran, looking blueish.

Yes, but demonic creatures were created only in small numbers, despite the fact that they were already even in June 2001 4 months before the cancellation of the project. For these 4 month Piranhas not have made not one a new demonic monster... Here's a screenshot from the gothic development kit as an argument for the existence of all the same demonic creatures that are in the techno alpha version of the sequel.

Not was created modeles Molerat, Bloodhound, Snapper, Lurker, BloodFly (G2 modeles is cool for style sequel), OrcDog (Too), FireWaran, Swampshark and MineCrawler...
For 4 mounth not was created not one new demon monster! Yeaaaa nice work..

Good idea to design the demonic lurker in the style of the alpha lurker. We had the same idea.

Nice hats, but why are there mercs at the old camp? Didn't Diegos milita reuse the guard-armors?

Berengar's army came to the valley of mines already in their armor. And this armor we decided to do similar to what was in the Intro. It only vision. Obviously the piranhas had to make new armor for the Berengar soldiers as all the gomez guards had left the old camp in their armor.

Gothic 2 beta version (~v1.20). May notice inventory from Gothic sequel and old textures from Gothic 1:

Did they thougth of anything for the old guards to be in the sequel or were they going in the route of having all of them killed by the hero?

Yes, they thought. Stefan Nyul want that all the guards and Gomez himself had left the camp and had was to leave the colony, but most likely they could not do it because of the orcs. Meanwhile, Berengar's army arrived in the valley and settled in the old camp after Gomez left it.

Who is Berengar? In Sequel king Rhobars troops including Lord Hagen would take the Mountain Fort, Diego would convert the Old Camp into a refugee camp protected by the milita. Demon worshippers, poiseners and other heretics would take the swamp camp and the New Camp would have survived some infighting but late would later probably ally with the orcs against the demons.

Where do you have all this info? xD
But, really nice. And here I thought I knew everything already.

Berengar is probably the leader of the merc army.
But I think there was a Berengar in the sequel who's the boss of the guard (he should be in the castle yard or in the baron hall with Diego)

All the Gomez guards have not left the old camp in their armor, most of them were killed by you. Therefore indeed it makes sense that the armor was reused by the refugee militia. But you are right that Berengars troop should have another armor than the militia (if you distinguish between them, as we do).

Never heard of that.

Which merc army? A mercenary faction seperate from the New Camp would be redundant in my mind (by armor-sets).

No. Most of the inhabitants of the old camp left...
