    zCVob vs zCVobLensFlare

    Hello!

    If I wanted to create a halo around a candle I would use the zflare6.tga, set the alpha, yaw visual, and all the other charachteristics (like in the wiki).

    But I noted that I can do the same thing both if I insert it as zCVob both as zCVobLensFlare, so which is the main difference between the two?

    Hello, Frank-95

    Your question: Difference between from zCVob and zCVobLensFlare
    zCVobLensFlare: This Vob class behaves exactly like the zCVob base class. Indeed, the name of a LensFlare effect which should be shown with the object together can be given. LensFlare effects are defined in the file "lensflare.zen".

    And what is exactly a lensflare? I couldn't understand it very well with google translate. Does it concern light effects somehow?

    Hello, Frank- 95 !
    Yes,light effects.
    The word "lensflare" must be read : "Lens Flare". The lens and the light. Is the name for the bright image of the light source in the form of the iris, which is caused by reflections. Or in other words, imagine a lantern in the fog and around its light around a gleam of light ball.

    I've made some tests and I'm to repeat my first question.

    If I added a zCVob with ZFLARE6.TGA visual (and all its zCDecal properties) and next to it a zCVobLensFlare with no visual but the default TempLeFX02 lensflare (see below), I would always get two visuals of zflare6.tga textures. What does it change between the two? I cannot get it. The halo effect is the textures itself, or zCVobLensFlare changes something else?

    Code:
        [% zCLensFlareFX 0 0]
            name=string:TempleFX02
            numFlares=int:1
            [% % 0 0]
                texName=string:zflare6.tga
                type=enum;FT_CORONA;FT_GLOW;FT_FLARE:1
                size=float:0.6
                alpha=float:80
                rangeMin=float:0
                rangeMax=float:4500
                posScale=float:0.0
                fadeScale=float:0
            []
            fadeScale=float:0
        []
