Hat im Spiel autowalking funktioniert?

This mod looks very interesting, but unfortunately I get a crash every time when I load or start a new game. I installed the files into the system folder and the program is running since it shows the H icon and I also tried the keys, but it doesn't help. I'm on Windows 7.

Yes, they are.

I just meant visible popup-Windows with some error messages so you dont need to search logfiles.

I have an access violation.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work too.

However, the worse problem was that the game doesn't work and I have no idea why. The strange thing is that some mods work, but not those which are like the Golden Mod (which fixes some bugs in the Vanilla game).

Edit 1: I managed to fix the problem by replacing the _work folder with the older one which worked and the game no longer crash.

Edit 2: I tried both versions and unfortunately they don't work, but the game works and it doesn't crash when that application is active.

If that does not works could you do following:
While Gothic is running press Ctrl-Shift-Escape, and the Task Manager opens.
Go to the "processes" tab and search for a Gothic process. Ther is a field "description". can you tell me the exact description? Usually description ist like GOTHIC.

Unfortunately, it also doesn't work.

I run it as an administrator every time and I also tried those settings.

I don't remember, but I know that I activated quick save in the Gothic.ini and also I increased the blood settings there. From a quick Google search I find that most people have it set on F5, but they have it mostly for G2. Plus it's better to use the F5 for most of the games which have a quick save have that button (at least those which I play).

Yes (over 20), but I'm using the Gothic Starter to use the Vanilla game so I don't think any mod has caused the issue.

Im EP sind jetzt ein paar passende Tastaturkonfiguration vorgeschlagen, je nachdem ob man sich in Gothic lieber mit Pfeiltasten oder WASD bewegt.

Raider heißt jetzt Twix, und dieses Tool habe ich inzwischen umgetauft von Gothic Comfortable Action Keys zu einem kürzeren Namen nämlich:
Gothic One Click Action

Eine neue Version 1.5 ist draußen.
- Es gibt nun 2 Autowalktasten, einmal für schnelles und einmal für langsames Autowalking.
- Es gibt einen zusätzlicher Konfigurationseintrag "gothic_action_key", damit funktioniert GOCA auch falls in Gothic eine andere Taste als LControl als Aktionstaste eingestellt sein sollte.
- Es gibt nun eine verständliche Fehlermeldung falls keine Schreibrechte zum Erstellen der Konfigurationsdatei vorhanden sind.

Ich hab mir deine neuste Version runtergeladen und installiert/verschoben. Wieder in Gothic/System und es funktioniert tadellos. F1 - F4 fürs kämpfen und Tiere ausnehmen, F5 fürs gehen und F6 fürs schnell laufen. Funktioniert alles perfekt.

p.s. It wasn't possible to climb ladders with F1... so I had to use the old combination.

Sorry, war mein Fehler. F5 rennen und F6 laufen.

Über schreibrechte kam bei mir nie was. Dafür die Meldung.

Von Windows SmartScreen wurde der Start einer unbekannten App verhindert. Die Ausführung dieser App stellt unter Umständen ein Risiko für den PC dar.

Dann kann man auf "Weitere Informationen" klicken und es gibt zwei Optionen.

Trotzdem ausführen und nicht ausführen

Die Meldung ist relativ normal. Windows (10) kennt die App nicht und blockt deswegen erstmal ab.
