There is a czech translation (which is hard to find for some reason but I have it saved on my HDD) but not a voice-over
-
Do you know if the prison of the old castle is barricaded (like G2) in the Sequel ?
-
I don't know it, but i don't think so. They only had the old, limited world (mine valley) for the sequel, so they didn't try to limit this world even more through artificial restrictions as they did in Gothic II for saving time.
In Nyx it will not be barricated. On the contrary, it will be important for our story.

-

I am going to go a bit off the current topic.
I made something that might help you in recreating the mesh, a comparison between G1, G1A and G2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fGKQUDK-MU
I lined screenshots up almost almost perfectly. I can provide the original, unedited (almost unedited) screenshots if you want.
While I am at it I also made this :-), maybe it could help you .... naahhh

Sorry, but our Sequel OC Mesh is already finished. I've remodeled it a few months ago. But VERY good work with lining up the screenshots! And a few details (the position of the pentagram for example) i didn't notice before.
Good work with the intro too. At least it gives an idea. The sound isn't quite fitting and it's a bit regrettable that you've needed to "censor" the watermark of arhn. :p Also, the "dreißig Tage später" lettering isn't suitable, because in the Sequel the hero was a few months in the temple, not just a few weeks. But i appreciate your efforts. :)
// For Nyx we can't use the intro this way because of the different looks of our hero (and the alpha shadow armor) etc. So i'll work with a lot of black screens, speech, music and only a bit of imagery. It was planned once for Gothic to realise all "cutscenes" ingame (or to avaid them at all). So this is what we strive for with Orpheus/Nyx. Intro (and maybe outro) are the only exceptions.

Also "Die Strafkolonie Von Khorinis" was not in the original intro.
I am also not a big fan of cutscenes.
I dont know if "image only" cutscenes are any better. I can make some simple 3d animations so I could make one for you if you want.

Ah, sorry, with "only a bit of imagery" I didn't mean "images only" but short cuts of video scenes. As in "motion picture", in german we say "bewegte bilder", moving images. But that's cool! Maybe I come back to you with that.

I discovered an old screen in my collection:

It appears this area was flat in the beta:

Not completely flat. But yes, this area was very different. In Orpheus it will be like that - and so in Nyx too, just like the monastery ruins from the Alpha and other minor changes. I work on that right now.
There are many more screens of that area, if you're interested. I will publish a website soon. There you will find an archive of all the material published before the release of Gothic etc.

I can contribute if you want. I got a folder of those. There are some duplicates and I believe that there are even some photos of orpheus but still it's a lot.

Only you remember that during the development of Gothic architecture and was 4 maps of the landscape
4 map is release
3 map is the one that was in the resources 1.01 d, such a landscape was created in August September 2000
2 map - may-August 2000, the whole highlighted area in the screenshot from Vaana differed (not hut Cavalorn and the trail was the other) was also green beaches at the waterfall with the black Goblin and the beach at the ruins of the monastery. The ruins themselves were different! They are presented on some screenshots...
1 map - The end of 1999 to may of 2000, had a place of exchange and may not be mountain Fort.
I reccomended use in orpheus and nyx 2 map landscape..
