I've completed all the quests of the first three settlements now, except for one. The orc merchant, Urkruzz or somesuch, at Kap Dun wants me to locate some crates that have been taken by the bandits. I cleared out Ortega's cave without finding any trace of them, so where should I be searching next? I feel like I've scoured the whole coastal region now.

Eheh, you did kill the Ortega crew but there is still some bandits left in this coastal region that you need to find.
I won't spoil and tell you exactly where they are but you should look near the sea.

Have done this bit twice.
First time found bandits (4) on coast before merchant quest & got crates.
Second time spoke to merchant first & went to coast. one bandit no crates. Are they then in cave with Ortega. which cave by the way ?

From Cape Dun go down to the beach through the path located behind the slave driver fella. When you hit the beach turn left and go along the coast until the beach ends (it's not far). Keep going straight and you'll find the bandits and the three crates.

I killed all bandits and collected three boxes, but when I went to Orc Urkruzz, could not finish quest, because in my inventory there are only 2 boxes instead of three. Wierd situation? I've addiotionaly applied patch 1,12. Should I unistall game, keep saved games and install again?

You don't have to re-install the game.
Instead you could use a cheat, that would be:
spawn It_Urkrass_Supply

Yes, but he had 2 boxes, i had 3. I talked other things with Urkrass first, then gave the chests to Urkrass. That helps.
