I started playing Risen 3 days ago and got hooked, so I did a for me good ammount of work yesterday and wanted to continue onward but my save files won't load, there is no error message nothing. I click continue or Load Game and then my latest save file and it loads the game for 100% (in the bar) but the game itself doesn't start, it keeps hanging on the loading screen.

Searched for an answer long enough, so I thought I post here an give it a shot.

Check the directory with the savegame (see FAQ for location), especially the file sizes not being zero.

What about your other save files? Do they still work?

You also can try to upload savegames here and give us the link, so it will be possible for others to test them
