Whell..... yesterday after a long time I instaled a game into my PC.... and it was "Titan Quest".... it`s an RPG - style like Diablo and for more info U can enter it`s homepage!

So... someone else who plays it?

I liked it, but haven`t played for long, but I like it!

I just loked at the screenshots.... looks great
It is more like Diablo or like Neverwinter Nights? I mean, it has some quests too or just slashing?

It has quests too - main quests and side quests.... but these quests (so far I played) is like - "Oh my god - then tooked him into cave... my friend ....save him please!" - U go - kick all bad asses and U`re the hero!

It`s nice graphics and I wasn`t borred in first 3 hours I played.... so it`s okey.... nice slashing game to play ..... at least there is something to do till G3 comes out!

And yes - graphics are realy great - gras is moving when ther an arow falls.... so looks realy great!

I've Played it, and i have to say: Great game, maybe a bit to easy (Boss-Fight is Really Simple: Press Fight button on Boss and drink some Health-Drinks fromt time to time.....) but Really Good:

The first Scenario is in the old Greece, with Centaurs,Satyrs and many of the Mythological Creatures.(Zyklop - really Big one )

The Second Scenario is in the Old Egypt, with Mummies, Scarabs and... (i'm at the begining of the second Chapter ).

The 3-rd is Asian - I wonder what kind of Creatures may wait there for me

The one big Problem for me, is the Stability of the game.
On my System:

AMD xp 3200+ 64bit
msi k8n Neo 2 Plat
1 gig noname Ram
asus v9999 GT 256 mb AGP (Recognized as PCI )

the game crashes nearly every 2 hours . I can only play it -a longer time - in the Windowed Mode.....
I hope the first Patch will solve the problem.......

Some Infos:

The Keyboard Configuration can be full changed "Optimized"
There are many Items - witch can be Upgraded with Unique Charms
Money is no Problem - you find more of this, than in the most other games
There are Set Items (As in Diablo2)
3 Difficulty levels (the second will open after the first has been completed, the third after the successfully Mastering of the second - i guess )
8 Masteries, of witch 2 can be combined : makes ~28-different combinations
CharacterCreation (like in Oblivion) isn't possible- the only things you can change are: Gender and Tunic-Colour (and the Name )
2 heanded weapons are (till now) not avaiable - the only 2-heanded weapos are staffs for magicans

I`m at first scenario - still in Greece (in the beginning actualy!)

And yes the game crashes for me too!

By the way - when U finish first dificulty level, ten the second dificulty level U comtuniu with the same character - like U start with leve 32 (for example)

I hope the higher difficulty levels are more.......challanging.

One more thing (for thouse who dont have the game): If you loved Diablo games, you'll surely like the game too - But if you're not Sure: A demo is out in the Net : ~500 MB big, checkt the TQ-Mainpage www.titanquestgame.com

Hehe I rented the game three days ago (the last day I was online till now) and I still have it
It is a good RPG for its style and I like it

It has quests too - main quests and side quests.... but these quests (so far I played) is like - "Oh my god - then tooked him into cave... my friend ....save him please!" - U go - kick all bad asses and U`re the hero!

That's the only part of the game I don't like all the time you slaying beasts (in quests)

What else could you do in Hack&Slay games - there are not many ways of solving an Quest . But TQ offers also "go and Find him" quests - in witch you dont have to slay any creatures in the envoirment (The Master Blacksmith/Merchant - on the way to Delphi is such an Quest....)

You are mistaken my friend.
Have you ever played "Divine Divinity" if you haven't then you don't know much about RPG of this style
It is by far the best RPG of it's kind
There you don't only solve quests by slaying creatures you need to solve some riddles or take a very close look around you or read a book really carefully etc.
The quests of this game are a lot more complicated than Gothic and IMO Gothic has the best and most interesting quests of all RPGs (same with Oblivion too)

I tell you it is a real chalenge to play this game you will love it, I recoment it to everyone here

Well, it is a great game (I am in Egypt) but now I can't play.It crashed me very often till today morning that IT CANNOT LOAD MY CHARACTER.. .Does anybody know what to do?(I have tried to change the compartibility -sth like that- of the .exe, I have reinstalled it two times... damn

Well, if with asian they include china; evil spirits, Ba She, Jiu Tou Niao, Peng, Qilin, Long Ma, Jiang Shi (very likely to be included), Yaoguai. Just to name a few. ^^

And all I played is the demo...

One of the games I was most looking for... because of the relation to Diablo the 2nd.

And Now I'm hoping for some good Moddings for this game. There are some great things announced (remakes of D 2 Stages) announced..

Are there some modders here too, who wants to work with this great editor?

Make sure your user profile's name is in english and not Greek (I mean the profile of your PC) I had this problem with an other similar game

I start to play this game, is nice, too many items in my opinion...
But IMO is much better then Diablo.
The most annoying thing are the crashes. And the sistem of saving only at some marked points. I was stuck in one point because before I could reach the next fountain the game crashed every time.
There is a patch that supposed to stop the crashes, it worked for me at that point, but the game crash in other places. I saw there are a lot of people angry at developers of this game, and the main thing is the crash problem. Is pitty because the game is really nice, but these bugs make it very annoying to play.

Ohh yeah!!!!! And actualy this post is for ALL Gothic comunity members and for PB, too!!!!

This game is briliant example when game is released BOFORE TIME and many bugs (even big ones) anoys U playing this great game!!! So beter one month later release, then kicking out of game!!!! IMHO!!!!

Titan quest is a very good game..a bit boring (you can only fight)
i love see items fall from chest...they are very detailed

I Finally fixed it!!!
I just copied the backuped TitanQuest.exe in the directory.(do you see where we are ? we are forced to use "crack" technices on Original games!!!
I don't care though because I PLAY!!!

ohh... I forgot.
I have a Battlemage lvl 22 (warfare/earth) and my basic mastery is earth.I only use warfare for duals, fighting techniques and for the Ancestor gurdian later.What about you?
