definitely try gothic 1 one more time! just get used to combat system (be more forgiving )

Well, like I said I have zero problems with combat system, it's slow camera movement that's so annoying. I wasn't able to find any fix for this, I guess there is none.

I actually never use the mouse when playing either G1 or G2. Just WASD and arrow keys. When you play like that, there's almost no difference in movement other than the CTRL+up arrow interaction system in G1.
But if you insist on using the mouse, you could lower the resolution - that should help a bit.
