    Arrow Gothic 2 - Textures - jpg/tex/vdf

    Hello

    At the beginning I'd like to apologize for my English.

    I remaked some of Gothic's 2 original textures, but I've a little problem.
    Textures are in .jpg format (thx for GoMan) and there are more than 1.000 files.

    Anybody know how can I fast add them to the game?
    I tried in GoMan but it's too slow add one after one, also I think that GothicVDFS doesn't support the .jpg format and I can't build .vdf volume.

    Please, help me

    Gothic doesn't support jpg format. You have to convert them into tga (i don't know how you could do that for every single file).

    Any way if you're thinking about doing it by hand one file for a time, I suggest you to convert them directly to .tex with goman. Just follow one of the many guides to create vdf, and with goman export them as tex (always use some guide)

    Or if you have some scripts or program convert them all into tga format. Then extract every texture from textures.vdf and textures_addon.vdf (re-naming these vdfs with an .old in the end for example). Delete .tex textures that you modified and put in that folder your tga texture. Gothic will compile them. Of course you have to extract them in textures/_compiled folder

    Do you know any .jpg to .tga converter or .jpg to .tex conv.?

    For jpg to tga you can use format factory.

    For tga to tex you have to use the method I told you. Gothic is the converter

    Is it necessary to export all files from textures.vdf ?
    I put the three random files in .tga format but nothing has changed :/

    Okey, I dit it but... nothing has changed:/

    1. I extracted all files from textures.vdf to _Work/Data/Textures/_Compiled
    2. Delete 3 .tex file and put my .tga
    3. Play the game

    What am I doing wrong?

    After that I created a .vdf package in GothicVDFS.
    Unfortunately DDS Converter is very slow (this program doesn't convert many files at the same time) and I don't know how to use nvDXT :/
