So i started playing Gothic 3 again and while i was roaming the forest around reddock i saw a wolf . I wanted to do a sneack attack on it , but when i pressed "ctrl" and "w" i assumed control upon the wolf and couldn't get back. Can somebody help me with this and tell me how to fix it?

You must have testmode activated. You can deactivate it by typing MARVIN during gameplay(you must type it quite fast). You may also have it enabled in the INI files. Open up the ge3.ini located in the INI folder in your Gothic 3 directory. Locate the string, testmode=true and set it to testmode=false.

The CTRL+W shortcut simply changes the camera to the animal in focus. So the camera is focused on the Wolf in your case. I've never really found out how to restore it. You would need to somehow get the hero in focus and then press CTRL+W again.
