Gothic 1: Not entirely sure, as I've only played Gothic twice and didn't enjoy it all that much. But probably when I had Ulu-Muulu and hung out with the Orcs. There's always a few warriors who want to be your friend and follow you everywhere. Too bad there's the language barrier. But yeah, hanging out with them, watching them dance and having a beer with the warriors was cool.
Gothic 2: When I finally defeated the Orc Scout outside the city in a 1 vs 1 melee duel at a pretty early level. No ranged combat, no spells, no kiting or cheap tactics. Just two warriors fighting an honourable duel to the death.
There's loads of cool Orc moments in Gothic 3 as well. "What would Hashishin say? You're a son of combat, Morra!". Fair to say, Gothic has the best depiction of Orcs ever.

i had many best moments where my heart was racing (in reality) due to being chased by strong opponents and looking over my shoulder at how close their blades were to my back and to triumph over said opponents. but they are mainly:
- Gothic 1: killing my first orc
- Gothic 2: killing my first orc
reasons why - orcs are fucking tough bastards, 1 or 2 hits (if you are low level like i was) and you are done for.

Gothic 1: Chapter 1. Everything is still alright and my character is still weak so I can build him up.
Gothic 2: Becoming an apprentice in Khorinis. It's such a beautiful city and you get around a lot to convince people.

Gothic 1 - I can't really say, it was so hard and realistic for me that I was really happy when it was finished (and I sweat a lot!)
Gothic 2... I think the greatest moment in the beginin where entering into the Valley of Mines guildless in the Chapter 1. I found out that someone had done this before me, but because I had no ideea about it the entering was like a great discovery to me.
At the same level was the feeling of walking free to the big mountains from the VoM... But this was not just a moment!
But is enough to say, I think, about Gothic II, that I'm playing it from 2007 or 2006 - I can't even remember! - and I'm still enjoing it.

The begin of Gothic II, it was so thrilling to play the namless hero again Epic moment

Gothic 1:
- Baal Lukor in Orc Monastery and Sleeper-is-evil scene
- Becoming a mercenary
- Cor Kalom dialog and battle
Gothic 2 + NOTR:
- Coming to Onar's farm for the first time
- Entering the Valley of Mines for the first time (with the cutscene)
- Becoming a Dragon Hunter and dragon hunting
- Opening the gates of the castle in VoM and the battle
- Jharkendhar - Bandits, pirates and killing Raven (epic music)
- Entire Irdorath chapter, especially the Undead Dragon dialog and battle
Gothic 3:
- Entering Nordmar for the first time
- Entering Vengard castle for the first time
- Getting Paladin Armor
- Liberating all the cities from Hashishin and Orc control
- [In the good old days] Killing a dangerous wild boar
I've never played Forsaken Bugs or Arcania, for me, Gothic ends with the hero and Xardas departing for the Unknown Lands.

G1 - finding out how fighting system works. before it, I almost deleted game. Good thing my classmate was already playing it and gave very good review. So, I turned Gothic on for one more time
G2 - hmm, receving paladins armor?
G3 - that moment when I set my foot on the lands of Nordmar.
-
I started playing Gothic again, and I just made this screenshot. Did not want to start a new thread, so I'm posting it here.
While it's hardly something I'd call my 'favorite moment' in the game, it's certainly an iconic scene from the game Wouldn't you agree?

Hmm..
Gothic 1 - The moment when Old Camp got barricated and they all got against me! It was so epic gameplay change, i was really impressed. I love twists like that the most about Gothic.
Gothic 2 - Setting my foot in the Valley of mines was amazing. To see all the familiar places from G1, just different, and just exploring it all, was something truly amazing. :O
Gothic 3 - Hmm, don't remember anything like that. Though meeting NPCs from previous Gothics always felt good.

In Gothic 1 the first time I entered the Old Camp (it was night) and I got kicked out of a small hut by an angry errr...peasant...while looking for a place to sleep. It was like that's the first time this happens to me in a video game.
Also, when I first met Xardas.
In Gothic 2 it was reaching the castle (former old camp) in the valley of mines surrounded by orcs (at night). I was expecting a whole army of orcs inside but I was surprised to meet an old friend.
In Gothic 3 I really liked Nordmar and trying to find my way around, stumbling upon a cave full of skeletrons while searching for those very well hidden small villages. Truly one of the most immersive experiences I had with that game.

Gothic 1: Getting help from friends when searching for Focus stones - tomb in which you go with Milten especially creeped me out.
Gothic 2: Returning to Valley of Mines.
Happy to again found it.

Gothic 1 : Becoming a Shadow for the first time. I mean, in that unknown and dangerous world, becoming a Shadow in the Old Camp felt like I belonged to something, like I finally made firends and my existence had been acknowledged.
Gothic 2 : Receiveng the Paladin Armor and blessing my Paladin Sword!
Gothic 3 : I'm playing the game right now, for the second time...Don't know what to say, only finished it the Innos way once. Gonna go Xardas/Adanos and Beliar this time and see if there's anything special to mention!
