    Gothic Keyboard keystroke speed

Tried looking through the forums a bit but couldn't find it. I recall there is a setting somewhere or a way to adjust the the Keystroke speed of your Keyboard keys. As an example if trying to type in the console you might press the M key and instead of getting one M you get two M. The Key press is so sensitive it's impossible to type normally.

I did look in the Gothic.ini but didn't see it.

    Thanks.

I don't think I recall any such setting in the INI.

Is this a problem only in Gothic or in general? If it is a problem in every programme, you should look at the Keyboard settings in the Control Panel.

It's just the original Gothic and don't recall having this problem with any other game, well in the last 5-10 years anyway. Here is a reference to a similar problem which talks about InputDelay settings to adjust keyboard input speed. I'm just not sure I can add this into the Gothic.ini without blowing up my PC.

No, it's only for that mod.

I stopped using the FPS mod, to solve the problem for the most part. It still does happens occasionally if I'm not careful.

I guess uncapping the frame rate has a pretty big effect on game performance. Seems a lot of older games have this issue, System Shock 2 would probably run at 200 fps if you let it, making the player uncontrollable.
