Hi all! Good news here - DB & all mods are working fine, including download stats. Looks like "proxy" web-site is down now. I would try to contact @NicoDE for recovery (if possible). As a temporary workaround, you can instruct RMDS (both for Risen 1 & 2) to use another proxy manually:
- Open notepad with admin permissions. Click Start=> Start typing "notepad" => When found - right click and choose "Run as administrator".
- Open file in notepad: RMDS Installation folder \ mds.ini (default path is "C:\Program Files (x86)\RisenMDS\mds.ini")
- Add next line to the [Main] section (or change existing BlogURL if exists):
Code:BlogURL=piranhaclub.ru/rmds
- Save file and restart RMDS. Online DB should work fine.
UPDATE:
NicoDE has recovered the proxy-website, so it should work even without "workaround" (however I would keep it as well).#Stand With UkraineLast edited by LordOfWAR; 23.01.2021 at 15:37.

Great, it works!
Hint: When the MDS isn't installed in C:\Program files\..., the admin permission is not needed.

Hi all! Just a note: Online DB server for Gothic 3 / Risen / Risen 2 is switched off for now. I am using the server capabilities for other stuff. Hope to recover the DB in the nearest future (warning: Russian IPs would be banned).
Thanks for understanding.#Stand With UkraineLast edited by LordOfWAR; 20.03.2022 at 14:37.

online DB still down ... the modstarter is useless if the database is permanently offline and we can't play risen with mods - I don't understand why isn't it easier to just upload the mods somewhere... put up a link and let everybody download them whenever they want to play Risen 2 - depending on a database seems like a very inefficient method
