I've recently felt very nostalgic so I took out one of my old games (throne of darkness) and installed it. Everything goes smoothly untill I get to the main menu. The screen flickers horribly. I tried starting a new game but the flickering continues. Now I'm not epileptic but I'm not going to push it. I've tried all the compatibility modes and run as administrator and all those other checkboxes you can click.

my specs:
AMD dual-core 64 600+
ATI HD 4870X2
4 gigs of ram
Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit (with kernel hack so I can use my full 4 gis of ram)

Just saying that with windows XP mode (not compatibility mode. Just google it) the game works perfectly.

Too bad you need Win7 Pro or better to get it; neither Win7 Home Basic nor Premium have it (AFAIK). I use the WinXP virtual machine to play Civ2...
