You see I'm a Mercenary and Baltram refuses to trade with me. I'm in Ch. 4 currently, have finished the Ring of Water/Jharkendar quests. I know that this is just how it happens for the mercenary route. However, I've read somewhere online that there is a way to get Baltram to trade with you again even if you're a mercenary. I didn't mark the website because I figured I'd just be able to find it again. But of course, like all assumptions, I'm made into a fool.

I've tried wearing my Ring for the Ring of Water due to the fact that he is part of the Ring of Water, but apparently the idea is that he must hate mercenaries more than he loves the Ring of Water so it doesn't matter that I'm one of his people, he still won't trade with me due to the fact that I took the mercenary route. However, despite the fact that even Onar no longer sees me as a mercenary, but as a Dragon Hunter, not sure when that happened though, Baltram still sees me as a mercenary and won't trade.

Does anyone know how to get Baltram to trade with me again, or perhaps, will that option come at a later chapter?

I think he accepts to trade with you again if you bring him some food and water/milk,can't remember the quantity

Do I have to have the correct items in the proper quantity ahead of time? Because every time I talk to him, there is no indication what he wants or how much, or even that he wants anything at all.

Is there someone else I can talk too that would give me a hint about Baltram? Or maybe that I already talked too, but I didn't get the hint?

Ohh,I remember.You are supposed to bring him 10 hams and 10 bottles of wine,but this is only possible starting with Chapter 4

Oh, well, I think I have at least ten of both of those items. I'm in Chapter 4 now. Do you know how I might go about triggering the quest? Do I need to talk to someone first or do something first?

Well ,in chapter 4 there is no reason to trade with him at all ...if i recall corectly he sells only junk. But he was supposed to ask about the items right after he says he won`t trade with you...

Oh, I was hoping Baltram had some food and potions because Biff and I have been going through my potions like crazy.

Plus, I'm trying to get every bit of xp I can so that I can actually build my str to 90, learn to make permanent str potions, and read all of my tablets.
