I would like to see in the game movable chains and the body cages with cadavers in them moving in the wind or when the hero hits them. Would be awesome. Also quests relating to destroyable objects (NPC: you will find the gold in a barrel, you only need to break it open).
The project is called Community Story Project not Community Graphics & Physics Project so I suppose they focus on aspects directy related to the story (even graphical ones like armors of NPCs). Those kind of visual and interaction improvements were more like the job of the community patch guys.
Anyway I am really excited for this project since it works on what matters the most for me in a game. And even though I suspect I might be waiting for at least another year, the prospect of getting 24 new materials (stories, images, news) about it in one month got me pretty fired up

He's not gonna answer since that is a robot. I happen to know some of the software that does that but I didn't know they've cracked vBulleting security as well.

This mod will never come out.
It takes longer than makin 2 huge games, sorry but the hope kinda whaps away.
If you even try to look the other way...

-
Gotta keep in mind that this team is not paid for their work, they work in their own spare time.
I don't know how big the crew is, but I don't think it's as big as 3 big Ubisoft stations that made a buggy/glitchy AC:III, which took over 2 years to make. If u've watched many vids about it, in some are said that they were making the engine right after they finished AC:2, or smth. Brotherhood and Revelations were stand-alone expensions, one could say.

Thanks for informing me. And in such a nice color
Now, if you could be so nice, could you tell me the lottery numbers?

That depends on the game.
We are not making a game though. We are making a mod. Which means this is a hobby project. Pay us, so we all can quit working/studying and it will go faster.
Oh well, we could simply realese of course. Not that we were finished, but that would be a nice way of sticking to the Gothic 3 tradition, wouldn't it? Only, that isn't the point of our project. Quite the opposite in fact...
sorry but the hope kinda whaps away.
THE hope, huh? I belive you wanted to say "my hope".
Not that this would matter. Because we are not developing this to make any "hopes" come true after all.
But thanks for your post anyway
It's always so motivating to hear you guys complain while not contributing everything. Besides, wasting my time answering this nonsense instead of working on the mod (though i'll admit this is completely my own fault) really improves the chances of the CSP coming out soon

It's a mod for fucks sake, have you never met one before? Let them take their time, if they so wish, it's their project which they are doing for themselves and for us.

Hear hear ! It's official now, Wint.e. eehh ..Christmas is coming!:

Just a notion: have you considered utilizing Kickstarter (or some such donation system) for this?
I mean, if you could get enough money to enable at least some people to spend a little more time on this, I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad thing! And seems to me that far less interesting projects get a lot of support via such services these days...

We haven't any rights on Gothic, only Piranha Bytes have them. It would be highly problematic when money gets a factor for a fanmod.

You could enable a donation thingy on the site if you haven't already.
-
Well, I'm just happy that you haven't abandoned the project and that it will, eventually, be released!
-
Hell, it's about time! i hear from you, i thought you were dead. i am mighty happy to know you still working on this, one day i really want to play it, been waitin' for... how much now? years... 3? 4? still i hope one day it comes out, if we don't get wiped out by 21st.

Yeah, I guess I can see how that would be a problem. Sadly. I'm sure many would be willing to chip in with a penny or two, and I'm sure it'd find good use with you.

HerrFenrisWolf, I took the liberty to add a link to the CSP Advent Calendar in your post above. Hope you don't mind!
