Hello,I am typing this message from a phone
I have installed an amd dual core optimizer,not knowing what it actually does or that i don't really have an amd dual core(i know,very dumb of me).now,everytime i start up the computer,the blue s reen of death appears as soon as the desktop appears.my guess is that i have to uninstall the amd optimizer,but how do i do that?

Usually when you boot your computer, you should see what startup options you have before Windows starts to load; one of the function keys should bring up a list of startup options, from which you select Safe Mode (you shouldn't need safe mode with networking). Safe Mode loads Windows with basically minimal functionality, e.g. additional programs loaded on startup should not load. You should then be able to uninstall 'em.

Tyvm for the prompt answet!it appears i am unable to enter safe mode.when i choose the option to enter sm,a list starts scrolling,and it stops on windows\system32\drivers\mup.sys,after which it simply freezes

Problem solved,I am writing this from my computer .I chose the last working configuration option .Thank you very much!

Good to hear you got it solved! From the problem, it seems like that tool messed up some deep system files. You might consider re-installing the OS, sometimes I've experienced annoying odd behaviour when rolling back to a restore point.
