Ich habe mir gedacht da die Community so fleißig am Modden ist, und es schon ein paar Mods gibt möchte ich es hier natürlich sammeln, solltet ihr etwas finden so ist es hier im Thread bestens aufgehoben

Troll Trouble Quick Fix - [Download]
A mod that adds the Troll Head and Tongue to Sendler's shop inventory so that you can purchase them. Handy if you finish the poker quest and pick a reward before getting to the proper point in the Troll Trouble quest line.
General Install Instructions:
Most of the mods have instructions in their respective threads (click the bolded names in the list to get there). Generally it will involve placing a file in your CookedPC directory (Program Files\GOG.com\The Witcher 2\CookedPC by default). Files here will overwrite the default game values. To uninstall a mod just delete the file that was added to the CookedPC directory and things should return to normal. If the file has a .zip extension you will need to extract it first with your program of choice.

Von der Logik wäre folgende Beschreibung besser:
Vorbereitungen
- Kopieren des C:\Programme\The Witcher 2\CookedPC nach ein Laufwerk Eurer Wahl. Beachte:
- ausgewähltes Verzeichnis hat eine Größe von 14,5 GByte
- entpackte pack0.dzip eine zusätzliche Größe von 12,1 GByte
- es sollten also rd. 27 GByte freier Festplattenkapazität vorhanden sein
- Entpacken der Dzip Entpacker in ein beliebiges Verzeichnis - 8,4 MByte
- Kopieren des Ergebnisses in das kopierte Verzeichnis \CookedPC
- Anlegen eines Verzeichnisses, in welches die pack0.dzip entpackt werden soll. Bei mir ..\output
Ausführen
- Start der quickbms64_test.exe
- Auswahl der Datei scriptw2.txt (Dateityp script/plugin (bms/txt/wcx) -> Öffen-Taste
- Anschließend die zu entpackende Datei hier die pack0.dzip -> Öffnen-Taste
- Wechsel in das vorher angelegte Exportverzeichnis ..\output bei dem Schriftzug im Dateinamen »enter in the output folder and press Save« und Speicher-Taste. Tipp:
- wenn das Anlegen des Verzeichnisses vergessen wurde, kann man auch auf dem Symbol »Neuen Order erstellen« jetzt noch eins anlegen
- Nach Abschluss wird man im CMD-Fenster [DOS] aufgefordert das Programm mit der ENTER-Taste zu beenden
Nachbereitungen
- Es wurde unter ..\output eine Verzeichnisstruktur angelegt, aus der die Dateien entnommen werden können
- Das spätere Löschen nicht vergessen, wenn nicht mehr benötigt

XBM Converter to DDS

1. Die Dateien in den Ordner Kopieren wo eine XBM Datei ist
2. einfach dann die tw2unxbm anklicken
3 Es werden dann DDS Dateien(Texturen) Erzeugt die man dann mit GIMP oder Photoshop bearbeiten kann, sofern man ein DDS Plugin hat
Musik Extrahieren
Gemeint ist wahrscheinlich das interne Tool von/für the-witcher.de im Anhang.
Es ist jenseits von perfekt, aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck. In den FSB stehen nicht mehr die Pfade zu den originalen WAV-Dateien und die Zeichenanzahl ist zu allem Überfluss auch noch begrenzt. Eigentlich müsste man die korrekten Dateinamen der Rohdaten (WAV) aus den FEV lesen (kann man mit einem Hex-Editor nachsehen)... aber das übersteigt mein Zeitkontingent für private Projekte bei weitem und bringt dafür relativ wenig Mehrwert für die Nutzer.
Da viele Windows Vista/7 verwenden, The Witcher 2 ins "Programme"-Verzeichnis installiert und die Benutzerkontensteuerung (UAC) aktiviert haben, hat der unerfahrene Windows-Nutzer auch noch Probleme mit den Schreibrechten... (wobei die meisten eher Probleme damit haben dürften, dass es sich um eine Kommandozeilenanwendung handelt).
Kurz: Nicht schön, aber funktioniert für den interessierten Nutzer.
Und bevor die Fragen kommen (sie werden trotzdem kommen ):
Ihr müsst die fmodex.dll aus dem bin-Verzeichnis von The Witcher 2 in das Verzeichnis kopieren, in dem die tw2unfsb.exe liegt!
(Grund: Das Datenstromformat des CELT-Codecs hat sich in der Vergangenheit so oft geändert, dass man die selbe FMOD-Version verwenden sollte wie das Spiel)
Kurzanleitung: Archiv irgendwo entpacken, fmodex.dll auch dort rein, FSB auf die tw2unfsb.exe ziehen -> die WAV werden im selben Verzeichnis wie die FSB erstellt (und wer da keine Schreibrechte hat, kann entweder die FSB wo anders hin kopieren oder der tw2unfsb.exe administrative Rechte geben).

Anleitung zum modden
kann das vielleicht einer ins Deutsche übersetzen?
Ich hatte mal versucht einen Texturen Mod zu erstellen, ich muss sagen ganz schön aufwendig gestaltet sich das Ganze zuerst in DDS umwandeln, danach in TGA und dann wieder in DDS und anschließen in XBM, also so macht mir das Modden im Moment keinen Spaß!

For some reason when i have texmod active and have it attach to tw2 my performance slows to a crawl, without any packages even.Weirdness, maybe driver or gpu setting issue.
Anyhow i actually tried modding the hairs too (although to black) so i know where they are (for a change ;p) Sorry for assuming all this knowledge, i will explain properly
1) The game files are compressed in the pack0.dzip - so first you have to unpack it
see here -> http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witc...ip_for_modders - make sure you extract it somewhere, where somewhere is not inside tw2 directory.
2) Get the zip file http://filesmelt.com/dl/witcher2_texture_converter.zip , and get rid of the bat files inside (they don't work for me at all). Copy the entire contents in the same directory where you have quickbms (which you will have once you follow the how to unpack the pack0 file)
3) see attachment how your folder should look ;p
Now its really simple browse your extracted files (wherever you extracted pack0.dzip to) and find characters\player\model\head
inside you find
geralt__c1.xbm (Color)
geralt__c1_n.xbm (Normals)
geralt__c1_s.xbm (Specular)
Now start quickbms.exe - point it to the w2_xbm2dds.bms then in the 2nd dialog - point it to geralt__c1.xbm . It extracts the file (you can also shift select more xbm files)
Now you have a geralt__c1_DXT1.dds and bin , drag the dds file simply on nvdecompress.exe to get a tga, edit the tga, save it, and drag it on nvcompress to get a dds again.
Now rename (your modified) geralt__c1_DXT1.dds to geralt__c1.dds (so , just drop the DXT1 its something the unpack script does)
Now the last step is simply to run quickbms.exe again, but this time point it to w2_dds2xbm.bms - select your "new" geralt__c1.dds file and you get, tada, an xbm file that the game should read if you put it in the right place. (make sure you don't "lose" the bin file Note And don't forget to remove the dxt1 part from the bin file as well!, its required for the final step ,p)
So basically, to "properly" recreate the xmb file make sure do this and have these 2 files
rename geralt__c1_DXT1.dds to geralt__c1.dds
rename geralt__c1_DXT1.bin to geralt__c1.bin
then just select the DDS file when you are using quickbms (it will auto-read the bin file)

Gibbed's RED Tools currently includes command-line utilities for unpacking and packing .dzip archives, and for decoding and encoding .w2strings tables.
Gibbed is the author of this toolset. I am merely the official maintainer of the project page on Witcher Nexus.
INSTALLATION
Extract the archive and run the installer.
TOOLS
- Gibbed.RED.Unpack - Unpacks .dzip archives
- Gibbed.RED.Pack - Packs files and folders into .dzip archives
- Gibbed.RED.Strings - Decodes and encodes .w2strings tables
BASIC USAGE
- Gibbed.RED.Unpack [OPTIONS]+ input_dzip [output_dir]
- Gibbed.RED.Pack [OPTIONS]+ output_dzip [input_dir]
- Gibbed.RED.Strings [OPTIONS]+ input [output]
Run each tool from a command prompt to read advanced usage instructions for each tool.
TIPS & TRICKS
- When packing folders into .dzip archives, you can drag-and-drop the folders onto the Pack binary. Pack will generate a .dzip named after the top-level folder.
- Pack will not include the top-level folder in the .dzip archive.
- Your .dzip folder paths should be relative to the CookedPC directory. For example, ability and item mods should be placed into their respective directories within your mod directory.
- Unpack an existing working mod to obtain firsthand experience with how mods should be packed.
- When unpacking pack0.dzip, you can use the --extension option to specify which files with specific extensions to unpack.
- You can unpack the entire pack0.dzip archive; however, you must have more than 10 GB of free space.
- You can unpack most .dlc archives as you would .dzip archives; however, you must use the --cdkey option. Use a blank string for the cdkey value.
