It looks like it has been a really long time since the last post here, but this is the most appropriate place for my problem - I just bought Gothic 2 from GOG.com and have started playing but noticed after a few hours that I was getting no music, only sound effects and voice - I then found on this site a link to a fix (I have vista SP1, which is apparently the problem). That link goes to a place that no longer has the file. I found another thread on the site here with a different link for the fix file and it was also broken . I can't find this anywhere else online and am wondering if you can help me?!! I am going crazy without the music. Thanks for the help...

I wrote Installers for these files because many users had problems with extracting/copying in the right Folder.

• Gothic1-VistaSP1 Backgroundmusic-Patch
• Gothic2-VistaSP1 Backgroundmusic-Patch

Every Installer finds automatically the correct path.

For the G1-version you must have installed the Playerkit-1.08k.

This is allready done ... Modres linked the files from the German Download section, and WernerTWC have linked this allready in the FAQ too. Klick
