This tutorial is in German. There is a separate file with subtitles, but I have no idea how to play this tutorila w/subtitles. When I start it, it is in German. I do not see any english subtitles. What should I do?

Depending on your video player, there are several options. Some players load automatically the subtitle file, if it has the same name as the video file. Others require to open from some menu in the player.
Try something free and with lots of options, like VLC, media player classic, kmplayer, gom player.
