Did it happen to you, when you start a new game (1.12) a lot of items, enemies and other stuff are missing from the environment? Like the hero can't learn any more from bookshelves. There's 2 in Ardea, and he says: " already knew that"
Second: Enemies and plants missing in the Cape Dun cave. There's nothing there! Not even mushrooms and like that. (It is a totally new game, not a loaded one)

Does the test mode cause problems like that?

I have that, a still picture of when i last left the game when i start it another time.
YOu need to restart your computer, and start a new game without loading any of your old.

afther I started a new game many thing are GONE even NPC's its just not normal

i`ve encountered the same problem, and i solved it with the "reinstall game" from the autorun (of course, i also applied the latest patch).

My guess is that when you have loaded a game allready, and then decide to start a new or load another savegame that issnt related, the game doesnt unload the previous stuff,
so basically its the same load only with another character.

I would have thought they would fix this quite quickly, but it still seems to be like that.

and btw do you need to install all the patches to get them all or does the v1.12 have all the previous patches to?
Since i just installed a fresh install with the 1.12 patch and i can still buy a flame sword and some other bugs that were adressed in a earlier patches..

You just have to install the latest patch.

Ok, the solution is to quit the game, and THEN start a new game.

I got the same problem but things gone missing afther I destroyed redock thats the most wierd bout it, I spoke to Ubrak then I destroyed redock when I ome back hes nowhere ! Neither his guard.

And in montera also alot of import stuff is missing...

lol the stuff missing in montera wouldnt include people, the slave list, milk and weat sacks would it? i hate the idea of spending hours on a game to find that important things r missing

i just kept making new games until FINALLY everything appeared

I know this problem, it is discussed in the german forum often.
The reason is that you start a new game, but the old savegames are always still being in the savegameordner. If you save the game than, this new savegame and the old savegames mix themselves. Therefore parts you did in the old savegame are missing in the new savegame.
Actually it is only a bug, but to repair it you have to end the whole game and delete or shift the old savegames. After that you can start a new game without problems like that.
