i've played with that tool only for 1 entire game (years ago). In my opinion, is really great, simple to use and intuitive.
Obviously, if you exaggerate with the parameters, you risk having a damnable and easy (or hard) game. So i suggest you to make minor changes, only in certain parameters.

Pity that this tool doesn't exist for the original Gothic.
