where is gilbert???

in gothic 1 was this digger gilbert(i think has his name) and hi was hidding up in a cave near the south entrence of the old camp... in gothic 2 i went there thinking ho'll still be there, dead or alive, but in sted i found a note saying that after the barrier collapsed hi was fed up of hidding and hi will ge pass the pass to Korinis... but i couldn't fine him anywere.

From my knowledge and the mondgesaenge (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/index.htm?data=data_orte.js&id=o_52) one Gilbert is not in G2. Maybe he died in the way. :(

Unfortunaly Rockfest is right there is no gilbert in g2 §gnah
