The old treasure map

Yesterday I played gothic2 again and I remembered
that old map I bought from the map dealer.
It supose to be a treasure map.
What's about that map I went there and the only valuable thing I found
was swords and some gold in the cave nearby :confused:
But I don't think this is the treasure because it is away from that red mark

It's supposed to be a treasure map meaning that the "ruins" are hidding some kind of treasure. :) But in G2 classic there is nothing to interesting in there as you found out.
In Notr it's another story but i won't spoil you ;)

You can give the map to the hotel keeper (I fogot the name) and she will give you a small reward.

In the top of that aztec pyramid, there is a small room full of gold coins on the floor. I think that is the "treasure". I always think that the treasure it's what the map represents if you give it to Hanna (the small key to hapiness:p).

Based on what i looked up on mondgesänge, the treasure is the ring of invincibility in the cave near the pyramid:

actually rockfest was 100% right...i was standing right on the X on the map...guess where i was? :D

I think it is the cave behind the pyramides too. Like werner told it. I don't know what was there but I can say that it was easier to enter the cave as to leave it (it is not the portal entrance).

maybe it was only supposed to mark that cave...but the coincidence with the portal is nice :p
i suppose the devs meant it this way :)
