Hi there, My problem is that, I can't kill the ice dragon. I talk to him and he doesn't attack me, and when i hit him I deal no damage but he kills me:dnuhr:. So I haven't finished a thing or is it a bug?

Do you have the amulet of Innos equipped?

I've heard of this bug before, it's fairly common IIRC, but sadly I don't remember the solution :/ but there certainly was one...

IIRC it was something about the order you kill them -> wrong order -> immortal ice dragon.

@Raudonas22:
Do you have an older savegame from before killing the first dragon? And do you want to go back to that savegame? (Then i could look it up)
Otherwise use the kill-cheat to get rid of the problem.

Or you could try to use edit abilities on him to see if his flag is still set to anything but 0. Setting the flag to 0 should remove the immortality, afaik.

i played the game so many times and never got bugs like that. Make sure you recharged the eye of innos after you killed a dragon and you have it in your inventory.

Appearance of the last phrase in a dialogue with the dragon (something like this: "The power of the Eye is extinguished, and your time has run out.") depends from value of DragonTalk_Exit_Free variable. If value is equal to 1 (i.e. TRUE), then dragon says the last phrase, stays mortal and attacks NH. Therefore if you have a save with the immortal ice dragon, try to run GVE (http://http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/showthread.php?t=576370) utility, change to 1 value of DragonTalk_Exit_Free variable, save the modified game, start NotR and load this modified game.

Had this once, but I killed the dragons in a weird order. I think the correct order is Swamp>Stone>Fire>Ice. Ever since I got that bug I did it that way and never had it again.

Either way, the quest still comes out "completed" and you lose out on a bit of exp (like 5k I think) but at that time exp should be next to worthless to you.

And if you do need some more exp before you head to Irdorath then just knock down/kill all the bandits/pirates in Jhakendar and paladins in VoM for some extra exp. I killed em all but then again Vatras seems to get pretty pissed at you if you do :D.

Kill all the paladins in the castle, then open the gate, and there will be ALOT of orcs waiting to get killed. Cant kill Garond tho (the orcs will do the deed). Tonnes of exp for you.

Well I did this in this order - Fire>Swamp>Stone>Ice. I talked to no one in castle except for Garond. :dnuhr: I dunno, this worked too.

It isn't if you possess the Ice Dragon first. :p

theres no specific code that tells the order of the dragons, and theres always ways to kill dragons or garond or who ever your victim is,

just go to marvin mode and play around,

set your strength to 99999 and try hitting it, if it doesn't die, then its immortal, just type "kill" in console when looking at it and it should die,

if not type edit focus and set its hitpoints to 0 and it WILL die if it still doesn't, then your game is somewhat messed up somehow.

well yea I tried kill but it doesn't appear as completed mission.

after you killed it hit "o" while looking at it and hit f8 and it will be revived and set its hitpoints to 1 and make sure u disable any immortality flags and it should work just fine
