I cannot use the "_" key in the Gothic console?

For some reason when I try to use the "_" key in the first Gothic in the console (marvin mode, then press F2) I can only put in codes that are just one full phrase like...

goto waypoint oc1
insert molerat

But I cannot do codes like:
goto waypoint psi_start

since I cannot use the "_" key for some reason...

Any of you guys know what the problem might be?

Hello there, welcome to the forum. :)

It's because of those nasty germans :p, they have different keys, you can put "_" by pressing "/" ("?") , it's the button left to the right shift :D(i'm not sure if you have to hold shift, but i'm sure that the button is corect). Another thing is that the keys "Y" and "X" are exachanged. If you press "Y" it will appear "X" and viceversa. Hope i was of help to you. :)

EDIT: Yeah, sorry, my mistake, it's "Z" not "X" :D.

I don't think that because of this is makeing him problems. I can use the "_" key and it works. For example for writing insert PAL_301_Valentine (an NPC I've made) I use Shift+-.

I had the same problem few days ago its because german based keybord for gothic and y and z are permuted places.For me the lower line "_" is here "/?"and its used with shift.

I didn't had such problems. My keyboard is in english and alos my Windows XP uses english language. Use another keyboard if you have (maby an US Standard one).

^^ you don't need to use another keyboard - you can change the keyboards language in control panel if you want... but you don't need that cause imho not the keyboard is the problem... you should try "shift" + "/?"
