Gothic 1 Runes question

I just became a Fire Magician and I had saved up SP to reach 4th Circle.Problem is I can't find any 4th Circle runes. I tried with all the fire magicians and Cronos and I only found up to 3rd Circle runes.

So here's my question...when will i be able to buy 4th level runes?(and 5th and 6th)

Also, while I'm at it....should I buy the High Fire Robe or just wait until i become a Water Mage?

Which chapter are you? The inventory of the merchants change after each chapter, and why are u in such a hurry for 4th circle runes? (i supose that you are in chapter 2 if u "just became a FM"). Just play the game. If you find the best rune in the game which will become of the game then? ;) U will be the toughest guy and finish the game in a veeeery easy and boring way, right?... Everything at his time. Hope you get it. :)

Ok...first off....Firestorm is in no way the best rune in the game.
Also...if I can reach 4th Circle in chapter 2 then it stands to reason I should be able to actually get something for the 25 skill points I invested in reaching 4th Circle, in other words, i should have 4th Circle runes in chapter 2, not the next chapter.

When a fighter buys 2nd level 1h weapons he gets a bigger critical chance and better combos now, not next chapter, not even in 5 minutes.

Also, a mages job is to kick ass, not to work like a pig to get things done....sure, it may seem easy and boring, but not to me....I feel much better if I can kill 3 monsters before they even touch me than to kill one and then run like Beliar was after me because I can't stand up to the other one that was with him.

My point is this:
If I can learn 4th Circle I should get 4th Circle runes...plain and simple...that's why I was so confused....seems kinda stupid...it's like beeing able to learn how to use crossbows, but not finding any to use.


Also...yeah, I'm in chapter 2...could you tell me when chapter 3 begins, so I know how much longer i have to wait to get my Firestorm? :(

Yes, you're right, i understand, but you should say this to PB. Because as u can see(or not?) in G2 the magic-circle system is diferent. Maybe they realised their mistake and modified it. You saw (or you'll see?) that being a mage in G2 is very very diferent from being a mage in G1.
So all i can say, wait untill you'll get your hands on runes for 4th circle. Now just play the game with the runes you have.
Hope you didn't feel ofensed from my first post. I was just trying to say... you understood what i was trying to say. :D

I already know how hard it is to be a mage in G2 and quite frankly I think it's ok....up to a point. But I'll complain about that later.

If you have the 4th circle then you will receive the 4th circle runes. Play the game for yourself and you might finish it with the pleasure knowing that you did it on your own and not helped at this simple matter.
And btw, firestorm is a good spell if you know how to use it.
And just for you to know : the path of the magician of fire is longer than the others. It's one of their attributes so if you don't like it complain to PB to put the 6th circle in the first chapter. No offence man but you got to respect a man who wastes his time trying to give a good advice.

How exactly is it that knowing when I get 4th circle runes ruins the game for me? I simply asked because I thought I was missing something..maybe a bug, or a merchant with the rune. And whilst I appreciate the fact that _DieGo_ took time to answer my question, I feel his tone was too patronizing....he sounded like he's my freakin' kung-fu teacher or something: "Some lessons you must learn on your own, grasshopper" :p
Also, i suspect that _DieGo_ is mature enough to stand up for himself, and if he feels offended by my words than I appologise.
I asked here because I didn't want to search for a walkthrough and ruin more of the plot...I just wanted to know this one little thing.
