Old Stone Tablets?

Can anyone please tell me what is the purpose of these tablets? I've also heard somewhere that if you give them to Vatras in a certain number you are supposed to get some bonus? I would also like to know if Vatras is willing to accept them after you complete the addon world before chapter 4?

That's right.
The bonus, you will get, depends on the amount of tablets, you will give him at once:
If you give him 1 - 4 tablets at once, you will get elixirs of healing
If you give him 5 - 9 tablets at once, you will get fireball scrolls
And if you give him 10 or more tablets at once, you will get a permanent bonus to your manapool equal to the number of given tablets.
With 28 tablets, you can find in the game, you can get 28 manapoints.
But 3 of these tablets, you can give Erol. If you do so, you have the opportunity to get +1 strength and Erol as a trader (sells among other things an amulett strength (+10 strength) and a elixir of life (+20 life permanent)



I would also like to know if Vatras is willing to accept them after you complete the addon world before chapter 4?
Yes. You can give him the old tablets up to and including the 5th chapter.

I actually wanted to ask about Erol and whether it was worth it, but since I'm a paladin every strength poin is worth it.

one more thing... according to the map that you can find here on the WoG site, there should be 27 old stone tablets, is that a mistake? I haven't visited the addon world yet and so far I've got 13 old stone tablets. I collected 2 from the valley of mines, therefore according to the map i'm missing one from khorinis but I just cannot find it... :dnuhr:

In the addon world you can get an additional tablet from Morgan in the pirate camp, if you give him "Morgan's Ring" (gives +10% to the 1H-skill).
So there a 14 old stone tablets in the addon world.

Old Stone Tablets in Khorinis:

1.Find one on bench near Xardas at beginning of game.

2.find one in chest in tent beside Skip the pirate on beach just north of Khourinis.

3.find one next to Isgaroth on the way to the fire mage monastery.

4-6.Get three from the bandits on the bridge after you have killed them.

7.find one in the crypt behind Onar's farm.

8.find one outside of tower next to Dexter's camp.

9.find one in the small pyramid next to the great pyramid.

10.find one at the top of the great pyramid.

11.find one in the Khorinis portal temple.

12.find one in the cave in the deep valley outside of the city.

I have a feeling that it may be either #11 or #12 that you have missed.
