Hier 'ne ziemlich coole Compilation die eigentlich zwei durchgehende Sets mit 30 verschiedenen Künstlern ist, die in 30 Tagen produziert wurde. Jeden Tag hat ein Künstler einen Tack fertig gestellt und dann das bisherige Set an den nächsten weitergerreicht, damit er dort wo aufgehört wurde macht. Die einzigen die ich kannte waren Venetian Snares und The Flashbulb... aber das tut der Qualität keinen Abbruch, wirklich nicht!
Insgesamt eher sehr chillig, zum entspannen und genießen, mit ein zwei chaotischen Ausbrüchen dazwischen, aber übermäßig ruhig.

SID Metal? Ja, klar. Denken wir uns doch als allererstes mal ein Genre für jede Band aus...

Ganz ehrlich: Ich persönlich halte von Genre-Einteilungen die über Grundkategorien wie Metal, Rock, Pop hinausgehen generell wenig, weil das zu einem gewissen Grad sowieso alles subjektiv ist. Selbst über die grad genannte grobe Einteilung sind schon oft genug Streits ausgebrochen. Ich finde, dass das ganze viel zu ernst genommen wird.

Die Bezeichung SID Metal ist auch nicht todernst zu nehmen, ist aber unter anderem dadurch entstanden, dass man den Sound der Band eben nicht eindeutig einem bestimmten bereits existierenden Subgenre zuordnen kann, weil die Einflüsse von Metal über Punkrock, orchestrale Filmsoundtracks bis hin zu elektronischer Musik inklusive eben zum Gedüdel alter Spiele-Konsolen reichen.

Ich mein, das waren ja immer schon faule Spackos die nur ein paar Songs auf die Platte gepresst haben..

Aber 4 Songs sind echt ein bisschen zu wenig um das Album zu nennen. Egal wie gut sie sind. Find das echt schade.


Ja für die letzten beiden stimmt das wohl. Überhaupt kann man find ich Eaves (Höhenangst) und Engrave (Stealing From Death A Few Desperate Moments Of Life) (beide Pre-Trainwreck) nachtrauern, auch wenn Trainwreck echt gut sind.

Oha. Vorhin war es noch da (seit Tagen/über einer Woche).

Mal schauen, ob der Herr Kalpamantra dazu demnächst was sagt. Ansonsten wirds wohl etwas dauern, bis die Compilation woanders hochgeladen wurde, waren eigentlich viele von begeistert, deswegen wirds wohl 100%ig irgendwo hochgeladen. Könnte ich eigentlich auch fast selbst machen.

Bin mir nicht sicher ob Bandcamp das nochmal hochlädt..

Wer Jazz mag, sollte sich mal das "Хоронько Оркестр" geben. Ich bin eigentlich durch "Чубчик" auf sie aufmerksam geworden, wo der Text eines alten russischen Volksliedes ueber den Minor Swing von Django Reinhardt gelegt wurde. Die haben noch viele weitere aehnliche Geschichten gemacht.
