Hi everyone :), first I want to say "thanks for this modstarter, an international database online for modifications is a very good idea both for players and for modders". :dup:

I open this thread to show you my modifications of Risen textures, until now I've made two modifications, but I'll make some other in future and I'll put them always in this thread.
Here some screenshots before-after (in spoiler for matters of size), soon I'll upload these modifications separately to the ModDB.


Armor of City Guards
Since the first time I played, I didn't like the texture of this armor, but I didn't know how to change it, until I saw again the first trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IFsIXGi9i4) of Risen, where you can see from 0:34 its original design; so I put a chain mail, changed some leather and the part around the neck.

Armor of Inquisitor
First I tried to change the metal protections, both its colour and design, and I found some ideas in some artworks, including this one (http://comixfactory.de./images/gallery/22f4ad460dc30e59b5bc7bbe8c04a624.jpg).
Then, since it's an armor, I tried to make it more armor and less robe, adding a chainmail on the chest.

Did you also manage to modify which material detail texture the game uses for the chainmail parts of the Guard armour?

I like the texture on the inquisitor's armour, though the chainmail could be finer and made with smaller links.

however no, I simply modified the texture "diffuse"

Hi everyone, I made another modification, this time to the Novice's Robe. My purpose was to make it more different from the Recruit's Cloth, so I've modified some colours, added some runic symbols and other details, without radical changes, as I did until now. Here some screenshots, always in spoiler.
