A curiosity, guys: having discovered the trick for the experience "infinite" theoretically could I increase my strength and dexterity without the need of amulets or potions alchemy right?

The problem is: there are teachers who will train more than 100 value?§wink

In Gothic 2 Vanilla, is no teacher, who teachs more than 100 Dex oder Str.

In Gothic 2 NotR see the following lists (here is 200 the maximum):
Teachers for Dexterity (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/guide_trainer_eng.htm#section_5)
Teachers for Strength (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/guide_trainer_eng.htm#section_11)

and for the skills like one-handed weapons, two-handed weapons and so on the maximum is 100% right?

I can't outrun it?

i think if you pass 100% you'll damage yourself when hitting someone :))

To learn more than 100% yes.
You can only reach with permanent boni more than 100%.

But this has no advantage in close combat skills, because with 100% every hit is a critical one.

In long range combat there is a (very small) advantage, to reach over 100%, because the higher the skill, the higher the chance to hit from great distance.
But here are the costs higher than the advantage.

But also for these skills there are teachers?

Or they increase themself fighting?

- Crossbow (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/guide_trainer_eng.htm#section_4)
- One-handed, 1H (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/guide_trainer_eng.htm#section_9)
- Two-Handed, 2H (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/guide_trainer_eng.htm#section_13)

Well, you can train your bow/c-bow skill up to 100%,and then use stone tablets to get it to like 135,I think. It's not exactly worth it,though, because you will have about the same accuracy.

What trick would that be?

What trick would that be?
there is one for the Mercenary and one for the Paladin.;)

Mercenary: Unlimited Experience & Gold
As a mercenary, in chapter 3, you can get the quest 'Shadowbeast Horns for Buster'. The exploit is that this quest never ends and that you can return any horn to Buster for +200xp and 350 gold. Knocking out Buster and taking back the horn you gave him can be done in an easy swipe and it doesn't register. With a good amount of horns you could even level up several times doing this.

Paladin: Unlimited Experience & Gold
As a paladin, in chapter 4 and out, Jan at the smithy in the castle will buy vials of dragonblood from you for 200xp and 200 gold a piece. For this you need to have the Take Blood skill (from Gestath or Godar) and have killed the dragons. You should have 8 vials from this. Just give all the vials to Jan for +1600xp and 1600 gold, then knock him out and take the 8 vials back. This can be done over and over indefinite, but beware others in the castle that might attack you.
