Special weed for the US?

In the German forum we have a discussion about the (missing) censorship in G2 regarding to the GTA hot coffee mod.
Because in the harbour quarter there is a little scene too. A few users said that this scene is uncensored in the US but there is a different cigarette form.

Is that true that u in the US have a normal "tube" design for the G2 cigarrettes? In Germany we have a cone form like it is typical for a joint.

(imho we have a tube form too but I will test it^^)

A good question, but it seems there are not too many users owned the US-Version in here... too bad!

I wonder whats the fuss about censorship anyway? Even the oblivion is going to m-rated. I wonder why people think that rpgs can't be m-rated or games for that matter? I have nothing against some violence and adult themes if it fits in the game. Actually mature themes make the rpg-games feel more real.But then again i could live without brothel or some weedjoint, it ain't the most important thing to me in a game.I just feel that piranhas should not leave some things out because of the age-rating.They are artist for god's sake! Its like editing some famous paiting, because the content might hurt someone's feelings :eek:

I hate the cenzorship and the others that reprezent cenzor it is a stupid what kids learn if they put cenzorship in the movies and games where is violence,sex or smoke :D

Cone or tube, the effects of the weed are still obvious despite this (failed) attempt at censorship. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I thought that in G2 there were always tubes? I only have joint-styled reefers in G1.

@Sowilo, the pictures you showed us.. are they from G2 US or G2 usual version?

They look more GREEN on those pictures. But everything else seems to same.

If they really modified this form to a white tube its ridiculous. I am not disgusted about this "hard censorship" which cut important game contents. No I have doubts that this was really necessary. No who had the idea to change that?

That´s too cool that they have changed this! *lol* ... hey,... isn´t it a great rescue for all of our childrens that they exchanged one drug with an other?!?!
Censorship is a good idea to keep childrens screens free from bad things,... but this is so completly absurd!

Are you able to kill a knocked down man with the "end-him-move" (i think you know what i mean)???

Edit: What´s about the effects when you smoke a joint/cigarette? Are there "effects"??? (The screen streches and you run slowly).
