Plants and trees in Gothic 3

I didn't see any info if there will be any new plants or trees in Gothic 3.
They too give gothic that realistic touch. It would be nice to be a woodcutter and sell difrent kinds of wood. Or if you become a magician you must know from wich plants potions are made. Will nature be more realistic?

About the potion stuff: that was already in Gothic 2. About the trees and other flora, you can just look at the screenshots and see there are many more different forms of a forest in Gothic 3.

It is saying about 40 species of plants in g3 so there will be much too see :D

Bartacus i know that was already in g2 what i ment was there should be moore of that stuff. And you could experiment to get new potions that nobody can teach you. In the screenshots you can't tell that those aren't the plants that already existed in gothic 1 or 2. Maybe they are the same but look diffrent.
I wanted to know about the new ones.

It would be nice to experiment new potions and tested to giant rats or bloodflyes :D

they should make new alchemy system, that you can add different indigrients into lab flask by yourself, and experiment with different plants. i'd like to study different potion reciped from books, and sometimes potion ruins, for example - when you put too much dragonroot into str-potion it will blow up, just like alchemists in G2 tell you..

For the trees g3 will use the Speedtree (http://www.speedtree.com/) - Engine. On the Site you can watch a few movies from the engine.

i think Speedtree's wind effect will make G3 nature perfect. imagine the trees during the storm.

kinda funny isn't it but remember LOTR the movie. at the begining of the first part when elves fire arrows and you can see elrons hair move. It's beautiful

well I'd like to make fires, in the wood....when you have to go long distances thru wood, and it gets night, you could stop , gather some wood, make a fire , fry some meat, and watch out that animals won't bother you....you can hear the grass when someone comes close.... I'd really like to be able to sleep on custom made beds on grass...

Make a fire put a wild boar on a stick and make yourself a feast, with some mead to drink. :D

that fried meat could attract a lot of uninvited guests, so you would have to sleep up on a tree. i'd like to see long travels through cold winter lands, mountains and blizzards.. then you find a friendly village and they take you to their longhouse and offer a lot of meat and mead and a cosy place in the barn to sleep. and then you wake up at night and hear dogs barking, because there's a predator around and you would have to keep one eye open at night.

yeah make the world so big it would take you 3 months in real life to get somewhere.
