question about Addon translation....

hi, sorry if i am posting a repeated subject.. i tried searching but it was tough with the german threads.

1st: if i have the English Gothic II and the german version of the Addon, will it work?

2nd: if i use this translator:

Will it be in subtitles? or will the voices be changed to English? how is it going to be?


If I can get those questions answer as soon as possible, i'd really appreciate it and i'll delete this thread quickly to keep tidy.

Yes, it will work if you follow the steps descriped on the page you linked.

But there will only be subtitles. The English translation mod does not contain a voice output.

And you dont have to (even if you were able to) delete this thread. There is nothing untidy about it^^

About the english version, do u know if it will ever be released in US stores?

By the way, where do you guys find the articles about the Jowood/PB business deals and relations with publishers and so on.

Jowood bought the addon rights for the US back from Atari. They would be really stupid if they don't release it. But I think they will publish it short before G3 will be released in the US cause they want to hype it.

So I would try to order the English addon from this online shop.

We have connections to Jowood and interviewed them by ourselves. I made a few of these questions (in German) cause my English isn't good enough so an other staff member made the interview with Jowood (I looked it up, Fizzban, who is mod here too).

edit: Just 4 fun I tried to order it.. uhhh.. I reached a formular but I has now idea what I had to insert.. so... it would be nice if we find a user who can write a manuel how to order the game there. Click which button where u have to choose how u want to pay ur adress etc..
