Trading in gothic

I cant seem to buy items one by one, ether in 10's or 100's cant possibly get it to get one item, which is annoying, all i press is Ctrl and up, is there anything i can do? :confused:

Press ctrl to talk with a man. then just simply pick an item you want to have and if you have enought gold you'll get it.

I understand the thing but its just that i dont want to buy thing in groups of 10's or 100's i want to buy a single item, but i cant seem to find a way for that to happen. And its gothic 1 too :)

1 Item: Control + Turn left/right
10 Items: Control + Walk left/right
100 Items: Control + Shift + Turn left/right

Ahh, it's been a long time since i played gothic, i'd forgotten things like that, thank you very much for that :D
