insert gold.

activate marvin mode, go to the console and type insert gold.

To activate marvin mode, press B or C(the character stats screen) and type marvin. TO go to the console press F2 and then simply type insert gold a couple of times. Though I should warn you... cheaters get a punishment for doing that :p
then when you're finnished, to to the character screen again and type 42

i think u shouldnt cheat for gold - in G2 u can make a LOT of gold only if u know how
stealing, beating up people, stealing their goods and selling them, quests, forging weapons with harad...

that cheat gives u1000 gold, but u get experience malus(minus) 100 for cheating, which is not good at begining because u need every single exp

Another thing you could try is the insert code for Diego's Satchel, itse_diegostreasure_mis, iirc. Insert 5 of them and you'll have 10000 gold.

I never used it to cheat though, only utilized it on my first playthrough, when I couldn't find Diego's bag of gold and didn't feel like looking.

P.S. The reason I need this cheat is 'cause I'm going to the valley of mines,
and that's where you buy the heavy militia armor. And I only have like around 1100 gold. The armor is 2500.:eek:

Have you already bought some raw steels from Hakon?
If so, you have to wait until the next chapter, then he should sell some new of them.

Or you can buy them from Bennet on Onars farm.
Every time he works at the forge, he will get some red hot steels, which you can buy from him.

There's plenty of ore all over the place... Like, Bennet sells some. There is an ore lump in the harbor of Khorinis when you enter the archway to the ship turn right and walk to the end of the platform which is flooded with crates and stuff. There is some ore in the mine @ Dexter's camp... just look arround the world of Gothic 2. You're bound to find some ore.
