Which one do u prefer?

hmmm....have to say, the old one, but improved a little...because it has that grotesque touch, and is closer to the dark and old world of gothic(GOTHIC 1)...I think, the new one is to light, and modern...it is true that the game is newer, but that is what happened with Gothic 2...and it didn't have such succes, as the first one... so, i like the OLD ONE.....

The new one, because is New,and there is that volumetric light effect, very beautyfull.

The new one show us the truth about gothic 3. Really gothic 3 is a new and advanced game, the succesor of gothic 2, morrowind, and gothic 1.

if, the old one is modified a little, it will be very good....the new one is too...we are talking about Gothic, so, there should be a modification that will make the old logo, more closer to the one of Gothic 1...you know, the skull , the bones, the rough stone....it should be very cold....:D the new one is like entering the matrix, or space...:D gothic doesn't need that kind of touch...he should look old...and rough... §burn §burn

Agree, but the new one is from distance more good, that represent a great engine, more functions, new shading. And other..

Exactly.I don't like that gothiclll is used with a number3. It looks more gothic if we put roman sings with the adress(lll) :)

Just as in the german part I voted for the new one. The old doesn't look bad, but I prefer the new, cos it's different (I like the 3 instead of a III).

I also think, that the old one is more Gothic, but I really don't like that light effect on new logo. Makes it too modern. But that light looked good in G3 teaser (not trailer).

The nr. 3 reminds me deserts and those slave traders/assassins in G3. Because 3 is arabic number. and III roman.

One first sight i prefered the old one, but than i saw the pre-e3-trailer (where a smith smiths the new G3-logo), ... that was really great, and from that point on i liked the new one more.

I think the "3" looks nice but cause Gothic II had latein letters G³ should have latein letters too.

it's a matter of taste.

But as I said: in the first post, Sowilo presented the new logo, that is worked out and brand new with special effects and shit like that, and an old "not official" GIII logo, that is brute, and not worked on. If the logo with roman number III(the old one) is worked up a little and give some specific gothic effects it will be also "new logo" and could be compared with the G3 logo. so it is not fair ^^ .

Without doubt the new logo gets my vote.
I think the old one looks quite dull and somewhat unprofessonal.The logo should arouse people and i think the new logo does it way better than old one.

My choice is of course the new one, I hope the new game will have the feeling of that one, but the old one is good too for it's nice old memories from the first game.

i vote for the new one because its more appropriate for the new look of gothic (im kinda dissapointed with the "cartoon"-like appearance of the world), otherwise, if G3 would look more gothic1-like with the raw enviroment then i'd select the first choice.

You're right. And I hope it will have same atmosphere with the old music. But my favourite music is the one which plays during the NotR credits what you can select in the menu. That's the best Gothic music (it's maybe a little offtopic...)
