Ok i don't get many things like:
They said no magic and three different kinfs of magic - what doess that mean?
What is ragdoll efect?
What does mean when they say no necro? (the last one)
What do they mean 'real lightning team efect?'
And you can really trade with evryone?

- I think they create a reason that for example an fire mage can only use magic of Innos. So the magic power is gone but mages can get the power of their god with an other way.
- If u kill somebody he will die "physical" correct (slide a hill down).
- In G2 u can get a sceleton with the rune or scroll everywhere. In g3 u can do that only at certain locations.
- real time lightening effects - I think sth liek dynamic lighs (torch) and so on... I just translated the German word^^.
- They said that it is possible that u can choose everyone of the "higher" (don't know) npc's to fight together with u or trade. They mean that u can't do that with really all cause that wouldn't make sense or so..

That means only, that u can't use Magic from the beginning, but later u can chose one of 3 Magic lines. And some Spells (only a few special Spells) work only at the right location, for example, to call a Demon, you have to stay near an Shrine.

Aha no magic but only granted to magicinas :) Do you know if it's writen if you can become a necromancer?
Unfortunitly still don't konw what is ragdoll efect.

anyway, what would be great to know is what PC configuration would be recomended for G3. I am curently planning on buying a new PC and i don't want any bad surprises regarding G3!

I remind that Shader 3.0 is used in Gothic 3.
It means that it 'll be better if your videocard supports this technology. AFAIK Nvidia Geforce 6xxx supports Shader Model 3.0 operations and future ATI R520 card (will be released in june (?)) will support SM 3.0 too.

In think in an older interview is written that they want to run the game on a GF 3 with DX 8. But not on a GF 4 MX... what ever..
If u want that it looks good u will need good hardware.

No, afaik only NVidia GF 6xxx , for example GF 6800

We don't know it exactly too. We think it could be that there r 6 fractions. A few human guilds/kingdoms + orcs.

Few things I have to comment.

Nice, but these things are quite difficult to determine.With all these changes i quess the replay value is quite high so the world is actually far more deeper and richier than ever before! Very nice.


- maybe animals to ride
Also a nice idea.but we'll see whether this makes in the game or not.I quess they have hard time balancing everything.

I wouldn't expect any less from pb.Logical enemyplacement is realistic.I wouldn't like to see forest animals in the deserts etc..

Great addition, that animals are no more just moving in a small area.I can allmoust imagine how we are sure to meet pack of vofves in the woods at night.

What does this meam? Can you explain a bit more? Do you mean towns like khorinis or smaller ones like "onar"?

Interesting i've allways wondered why in rpgs you must seek traders if you want to sell or buy something.Seems much more real that you can basicly ask next guy on your right if he had any arrows for instance..

SIX? Let me quess.First one is obviously us humans.Second one is ORCs.Third: Lizzard people? fourth: ??? fifth: ??? sixth: ???.Or did you mean human races?

Well obviously these three deal with magic in gothic so..
1. The first asumption we can make from this is that magic can no longer bought in other words: no more Scrolls.Also this questions the previous Rune magic and creating runes aspect.
2.Three kind of magic = Innos, Addanos and Beliar
3. So They made summoning much harder this time..If we think, It all makes sense that you can not summon a demon inside the monestery of innos or inside the paladin house, like before..Lol don't look at me like that, be honest and confess that you had to try it! :D
4.Also It wouldn't hurt if anyone could explain how the magic actually works?

My wish ! If there are 20 towns, in every town min. 10 NPC's, so there are more than 200 NPC's. :rolleyes:

I don't like g2 trading system, because, you can sell to Saggita for example all your stuff, and she give you all moneys in perfect value of wares, but normal, she surely haven't enugh money to pay you.

well i figured that i will need good hardeware, but it would be nice if they released a statement before the game is out, specifying the recomended configuration. smthing official in this direction! like they(not PB) did with Deus Ex 2, for eg.
