In a chest on an island near Al Shedim I found these items:
*a Bronze Key named "Guru Key 1"
*A book named "Grandpa's Legacy Part 1" When I read the book receive new quest: Where's the Guru? But nothing appears in my quest log:dnuhr: and I don't know what to do.

If we're talking about the same map, that one doesn't contain these chests. (They are new content in CP 1.70)

Ok so i found the second chests (thanks to larisa), and now i'm looking for the third one. The only thing I know it that's it's up north, so i've been searching and searching for the third one. Larisa could u give me another hint pls

Have a look in Myrtana. Where are walls outside of cities? (Not caves, btw.)

So, after finding all the other three chest I take of to Nordmar in search of the forth cheast.THANKS LARISA!!! and everyone alse that supported me.

I would like to know something: after finding all the chests, will there be a "prize" in the last one? Is it worth to do this quest rather early in the game (lvl 30ish, still in Myrtana), or there will be weapons of such greatness that I won't have the strenght or other skill to wield them?

To make this short: I am at about 200str, 135dmg sword + nimrod. Is it worth to go now and search for the chests?
The chests doesn't contain any good items. But the monsters you have to kill after opening the chests have some good things (especially weapons and plants) in their inventories, which are worth to find it. But make sure: The whole quest is a big easteregg so don't expect too much ;)

Thanks. This really made me curious... going to search for the second chest now... I found the first one on the island by mistake very early in the game :)

The last chest of the grandpa's legacy is above the cave with Baldar's ancestor stone(the stone swallowed by a shadowbeast).

Ok, so i found the last chests, opened it, fought the guys and read the book, but the quest still isn't completed... WTF, what now

Do you loot the "guys"?

One of them should have a teleport scroll.

Look for the thired chest in the north of Silden near the borderline to Nordmar. It's up to the river head near Silden.

I did it but he's poor guru. His guys was very interesting. I expected more from the end of quest...
