Hi all §wink
I was searching for a straight answer to the question of which Gothic 3 ending does Forsaken Gods continues. I searched the forum, but didn't find definite answer. If there is such answer, pls forgive me for opening this thread, and point me to that post.
I've heard it's supposed to be 'Xardas' ending - leaving with Xardas to unknown lands. But how? I mean that orc's supposed to rule Myrthana, and Kan supposed be the king. "The rule of the orcs will last for many years to come" - it was said.
So how is it that in Forsaken Gods Thorus is unifying "the wandering bands of orc's"?
And yes, how can they continue with that ending, when it was clearly said, by the hero himself, that they are leaving "forever" - you know, like never ever return again, til death do them part. I guess they got divorced :)
So I'm little confused :dnuhr:

Confused with what exacly? If you finish the game with Xardas' ending the gods lose their powers and the balance is kept (that is Xardas' aim). Orcs and Humans have nothing to do with it, the what happened with the orcs and the humans is totally up to the player, you can kill all orcs in myrtana and make humns the winners, you can kill the rebel camps and make orcs the winners, you can kill both and have no winners, you can simply do the main quest and leave no winners again etc.
The ending is connected to the gods not to the war. It's quite simple I think.

Mate, you get the vision of future in every ending - the slide-show thing. That slide-show featured different future than the one in Forsaken Gods ;)

...and in Gothic1 the Hero gets out of the Sleeper's Temple and says "my adventures are about to start", while in Gothic2 the Hero was trapped for 3 weeks under the ruins of the Temple ;)

True, but after all, his adventures did start :)
No really, I just can get myself to connect G3 with Forsaken Gods. Nameless one should rest in peace as a legend after G3. And he is supposed to, the future shown in slide-shows predicted that ;) Now he is back, and still an errand boy.

It does not follow any ending. Adanos' crown is not destroyed, and it is made this way by design. You can find it in one of the chests. Also as people say shrines still work. So it can't be Adanos' ending - all artifacts should have been destroyed. And it can't be Innos or Beliar's endings as well - NH has left with Xardas.

If you're serious it can't get any worse.

Because I just finished the game, it follows Adanos ending. Xardas & Nameless have left for the realm of the Unknown Lands, the Nameless returns and finds Lee in the place of Rhobar, Gorn ruler of Gotha and Thorus of Trelis...Your mission is almost the same as the Adanos path in G3. Unite Myrtana and put an end to the conflict between humans & Orcs that started to grow again ;)

Then you shouldn't watch the intro before playing the game. :D ... Yepp, in it are more spoilers of the story than in his post which could be better fitting in the game itself than in the intro. ;)

Exactly WernerTWC. I don't think I revealed much. What I said is only 2% of the plot going on in FG.§wink

yeah it sure continues with adanos' ending because in the other 2 endings you must kill xardas, and xardas plays a role at forsaken gods (as always he did) so he couldn't be killed...

Wrong, Innos doesn't ask you to kill Xardas.
