Guitar Hero 3...

Guys, I really need some help! Guitar Hero 3 won't start! I open GH3.EXE and then a error pops out:

"GH3.EXE has encountered an error and has to be closed...". ???

My config:

GeForce 7600 256/128
1GB Ram DDR1
16 GB Free HDD space
AMD Athlon 2200+, 1.8 ghz

I meet all the specs!
Help!

guitar hero is for PS no?

unfortunately you don`t meet all system reqs, that is the processor. guitar hero 3 will never work on athlonxp 2200+ or any other athlon model. it doesn`t have SSE2. if you really want to run this game, sell you athlonxp and get a sempron instead, which has this sse2 in order to run the game. btw, the graphics card is also very weak to run the game properly, no offense, this game "eats" a lot of memory.

that was danto for sure. and yes, he hates metalheads. why? because, I finally realized how stupid he is and I told him to F off. And now he hates metalheads. Gosh, how could I have been so foolish to be a friend with the likes of him. :rolleyes:

@ThePlaya: I think your processor is weak. Mine is the same. And I can't play games after 2005 year, or I play 'em on the absolute minimum.

Heck... What If I'l buy an AMD Athlon64 2,7ghz x3 dual core? Can I put it in my Socket A...socket?

lol, no, because it supports socket 754 only, or perhaps, a few of others, AM2 but im not sure. in any case, that`s your only solution, the cheapest, get a sempron, otherwise, upgrade your whole computer ^^

My socket is Socket 462. ISn't Amd64 compatible? I never heard about sempron..

what more can i say dude? it isnt compatible, so either buy an AMD Sempron, which is rarely on the market nowadays, or just forget about the game, lol.
