Why is Diego is neutral to you?(found out with "spy"cheat)

The problem is that if you try to pickpocket him and he finds you(120 dexterity needed)you can't talk him again!

Lets see... he's a former prisoner who was thrown into the colony due to a false accusation. And he was probably using you for most of the time at it.

Besides; would *you* like it if a friend of yours tried to pickpocket you?

Still, you can use the marvin mode to reset his attitude towards you.

I dont think u should try the hurt,harm pickpoket from someone who help u entire game.
U have 2 methods the marvin like Onisuzume said or talk to the man in front of the some kind a lake near Thorus.He helps u if u have problems with Thorus and Diego.

Read the title of the thread. There is no man by any lake who'd do that in G2.

I didn't like Diego the first time I played G1. I thought him and Bullit(?) were doing good cop / bad cop... I wasn't going to fall for it.

Diego is one of the coolest friends...he always shows support ,and he`s the one that helps u in the very beginning of the game....nobody else,but him. He helps u in the very beginning and remains your friend since the end of G3 - and maybe g4 ,u never know :P

He is a friend with the nameless only because he is strong and he can help Diego.

about mud, no one is friends with mud because hes very anoying, even i wouldnt be friends with him, only if he had food to share with me :D

Read the title of the thread. There is no man by any lake who'd do that in G2.

I attacked diego in gothic 2 when i took him to the pass... he's lvl 60 (gives 600 exp it worth it :D)

you give him one hit then he drawing his sword and telling you "hey watch it..." then you talk to him he put the sword back and then you hit again..... till he's lying on the floor and you can take his bow(long-bow 95 dmg for 90 dex :p) and his other items .....

Is there a cheat for reset his attitude towards you? What is the cheat code? Also is there one for Gothic 3? :p

@topic: well, I think there's an explanation for this: Diego was accused of a crime >>> he got thrown in the Barrier. Then some years later, the barrier was destroyed >>> Diego got out of there and finally became "free". Then, he saw dragons kicking ass in he Valley of Mines and he ran away from there, he went to Khorinis. He saw the paladins there and he warned them about the dragons, and they sent him back in the Valley of Mines, thinking he is a lunatic. How would you feel in his place? I doubt it would be very friendly. Don't compare things with Gorn or Milten. Gorn never got out of the valley, he got arrested for some random reason. Milten went back there on his own free will, to help the expedition with his previous experience with the Valley. And besides, he is a magician, paladins praise magicians of Innos.
