How to use will-o'-the-wisp and what can I get from this amulet?

You have to eyuip the amulett and then the will-o'-wisp will appear.
Now adress it and choose, what kind of things it shall search.
You have to train the will-o'-wisp by Riordian in order to find other kind of things excep weapons

But I don't find it useful.
It costs many LPs to train and it ist also able to find things without the will-o'-wisp.

When you equip the amulet, a wisp will appear which automatically looks for items near you. When it finds an item, it marks it for you until you pick it up.
Riordian can teach the wisp to find more items (at the beginning it can only find close combat weapons), but this isn't necessary, you can find most items on your own.
Vatras gave you the amulet because you should find the weapon dealer. Near the farms around Khorinis there are several bandit camps and traces of weapons guide the way to them. With the wisp you can find the camps and there the evidence you need to find the weapon dealer.

I know how to solve quest, and I know for this bandits. But I want to know is will-o'-the-wisp worth to train and spend LP for train!

I sometimes use it to distract enemies (the wisp fights for the hero, when he's attacked), but I look for items on my own. Single items aren't worth the LP, for important items there are also maps in the internet^^

Imo the best use for that item is simply selling it. 240 gold is much more useful in the beginning than this stupid amulet.
