Gothic 2 --- Can i become a pirate?

so i was goin along doin quests an being a good aprentice an tryin to be a good member of the community of khoronis an almost joined the militia...almost.

starting to go about an just explore an enjoy the scenery of the island nation i discovered a pirate (not the one outside the gates)

anyway at any point can you join/become one?

§welcome Since you meet a pirate you are playing the Gothic 2 addon Night of The Raven. And yes you can become a pirate later although its not an official guild.

My advice is to stay away from spoilers like this forum and play on, then come here and share your experience with us. ;)

Just for clarification:
There are three main guilds: the city guard, the monastary and the mercenaries. Once you join one of these three, you cannot join the other two.
Apart from that, there are some minor groups like the pirates. You can join these, irregardless which main guild you chose.

NotR is the Addon and gives the possibility to play... I don't know how to say it... In German we say "Nebengilde"... So that are guilds, that you can't get in your players statistics. Just the armor gives the fake of a pirate guild. Civils will attack you when they see you wearing that armor.

You will only be attacked by NPCs except bandits, if you wear a bandit's armor.
Wearing the pirate armor (or any other armor) will not cause any attack except by bandits

Well that might be possible but you have to cheat try to use: insert pc_itemfeller ( this will insert a guy with ALL items from the game in his inventory maybe you can find the armor there)

But remember Cheating takes the fun OUT of it. :)

no you won't find the armor there, but you can insert "armor" and give's you all the armor , or you could just insert "itar_addon_greg" or "itar_greg".

but beating the crap out of Greg with a paladin is much more funny:D and rewarding then the armor:p

Activating the marvin mode

- Open the screen with the character stats ("b" or "c" by default)
- Then type marvin
- Close the screen (An information for an activated marvin mode should be the at the left head of the display)

Getting the armor

- Open the console with "F2"
- There you type in the code for the armor and press enter.


Deactivating the marvinmode

- Then open the screen with the character stats again and there you type in "42" and close the screen and at the left head of the display should stand the sentence "What was the question?".

No, you can't. And you also can't find the seekers' armor, have a look in this (http://mondgesaenge.de/G2ADB/guide_ruestung_eng.htm) list.

you can get this armor with cheat. :D

But in regular game you can't get it!;)
