In Gothic 1 it was the "Kriegerstimme". Sorry, but I don´t now the englsih word.^^

In Gothic 2 and the Night of the Raven it was the Claw Bekliars. The Damage was good and it look beutiful and sometimes it lights beatiful.:eek::D

In Gothic 3 I have no favourite weapen, because there looked every weapon similar. I don´t like the weapons in Gothic 3....

Ive had Gothic for a few days, so i havent been able to look at any swords

G1: i liked custodian's blade the most, because it has done pretty high damage, u didn't need more than 44 str. to wield it and it looked ql on hero's back. and also, u get 300xp when u beat up a templar to get the sword:D

G2: orc slayer - u get it for free and it's powerful

g3: no preferred w.

G2+NotR:"Berzerker's axe" SWEET but high str requirement ,you can buy it or you can get it free in the last chapter

Hello gothic maniacs this is my first time here and for now i loved the forum. In gothic 1 my favorite weapon is the orc slayer (scar sword) i don't know why i just like it that's all.In gothic 2 notr my favorite weapon is the dragon slicer i loved the design of the weapon.And in gothic 3 i think i will go with the flame sword P.S Sorry for the bad english

In Gothic 1 i like Sword of Death ( you can find one in the orc cemetery ):D. In G2 master sword and bows.

I'd actually say that's the worst two-handed weapon you can get in NotR.
Or at least of the high-end weapons.

Anyways:
G1: Uriziel, great range, amazing str requirement, good damage.
G2: Großer Erz Drachentöter; nothing else even gets near. Highest damage 2-hander with great range to boot.
G2NotR: Großer Erz Drachentöter, best range and damage for its strength requirement. Gets bonus points for looking like Uriziel.
G3: Innos Zorn. Though the zweihänder gets points for its looks.

I haven't played Gothic 1 or 2 yet, since there's no way of getting it in any store now (I live in the Netherlands).
In Gothic 3 my curent favorite (started a new game) is the Flame Sword, since it looks quite good and it's pretty strong too.

BTW, I'm trying to find Gothic 1 and/or 2 on Ebay or something now... Everybody says it's better than Gothic 3, and I liked Gothic 3, so I basically have to play it :D

well, if you liked g3 then theres no telling if your going to end up liking g1/2
just cant expect the first ones to be anything like the 3rd....worlds apart.

try an online store, im from america so i dont know what sites ship to the netherlands but you could ask WarTom. I think hes from there.

Uriziel is the best in Gothic 1 (what a shame it's lost again)
In Gothic 2 I'd go with the ore dragonslayer(two hand of course)
I don't have an opinion about gothic 3 yet my Pc isn't good
enough to bear it anyway. :(

yes. That depends on which of the 2 skills you're better at - if you have 60% one-handed weapon, and 50% on 2h weapon your Beliar's Claw will be 1h. and, if you're a mage you will be able to choose different runes, depending on which circle you are.

no, it's different. on 1h beliar's claw you get less damage, but you attacks are lot faster and your weapon is shorter and the chance you get a critical strike(a lightning strike) is much bigger cuz u attack fast. With 2h weapons, your damage is more, your weapon is longer so you hit enemies easier, but you attack slower.

(p.s. innos does the same for his followers, as well as adanos.....soooo yeah :p)

and to lordbreaker,
it all depends on what your play style is, i personally go for the 1h and just use a decent 2her for biger creatures. the advantage of the claw is that it crits with the lightning, so imo, the more crits the better :p

In G2 NotR I like Heavy Warhammer (Its the strongest blunt weapon which doesn't go into the magician's robe like long swords do when walking like a magician), Dragon Slicer (It looks extremly good when wearing that Raven's Guard Armor.. fits with the colors), Orc Slayer (Fits with mercenary armors) and then I also like those ore weapons expect the one that looks like Uriziel. I don't like that weapon's desing because its so ridiculously big and it has so small handle.. even the Orc Elite's sword looks better than this because of the big handle and angry blade which goes sharper. IMO Orc Elite's sword model should have been the one that is Uriziel and Large Ore Dragon Slayer.
