Are there quest markers? I would assume not but with a demo not all things are initialized. Sorry to be a pest but I need info. No I'm not palying Morrowwind but I am playing Oblivion, NWN2 and Hellgate London. Oh yea, something else.....is the manual useful or like most.....not useful? Right now I'm playing a fighter but magic is my game and the magic system looks to be fairly complicated. Is it? After these questions are answered....all my major inquiries will satisfied. By the way...nice forum.

Gothic 3 demo is the one. By quest marker I mean that when a quest is given is there a marker to point you in the direction of the quest?

Judging by other rpgs i've played with quests, definitely for npcs with quests (on the map), possibly quests you've completed. Their aren't any markers, but the log tells you who gave you the quest. Magic and the manual, would need to know which gothic.

No, Gothic does not make use of the GPS system as a quest marker.

I think he talks about gothic 3!
I don`t know what he means with quest markers...
he said something about a demo!probably gothic 3!
the part with hellgate, oblivion and nwn I didn`t get it!
the manual presents you the story of all gothic games, the factions, some characters and the controls!of course, playing is more useful!
about magic:well, you need ancient knowledge to learn how to use spells(you can leran spells from shrines) and you need mana to cast them!how to cast them,I think you know!

Still, I don`t even understand 10% of it!:dnuhr:

Guz admins are always very smart ;)

And because of that they don't have the time to translate stuff.

@Cor Angars: We got it from the first post. You don't understood. It's alright, there's no need to make 5 posts telling the same thing. ;)

I think he means quest markers like those in GTA. :) (some arrows on the minimap that point to the direction of the quest).
There's no such thing in Gothic definetely, but it you were talking about Morrowind, i have no idea, i played that game too few.

Maby, now I think I know what he means, but why is morrowind, oblivion and london: hellgate involed in the discussion?

maybe because they have quest markers?

and that`s a good thing too!if you`d allready know where to find the quest, you wouldn`t explore the world!but if there isn`t,you go in different places, explore, find some cool things!and imo the second is better than the first!

In your opinion, but certainly not in the opinion of yodasmith00. But regardless, no gothic games have said quest markers.
