Informations:
Like every year its the 24. December. I am releasing the "rest" of my texturepatch today because I stopped working on it and I am only working at the "Gothic Reloaded Mod". I wish everybody merry christmans and a happy new year. §xmas

Release:
So this is the final release of my texturepatch. I fixed some small bugs, improved the installer and added the BlueSky Addon. The new plants sadly wont be in this patch. But they will be contained in a new modification project of mine, called "Gothic Reloaded Mod", a modification that aims to improve the graphic of Gothic a lot.

Anyway the patch contains this features:

completely new blooddecals
more realistic skys
edited objects and items
improved water
improved fog
new groundshadow for the player
the air draft of all weapons is detachable
improved monsters (ice golem, molerat, shadowbeast)
BlueSky AddOn

Note:
This texturepatch is fully compatible to all other texturepatches for Gothic (Satti, Freddy, NoName Mod, etc.). ;)

I don't think it is because it changed the textures of all animals and this mod also changed some animals.

I don't think it is because it changed the textures of all animals and this mod also changed some animals.Like I said I dont know this patch but my patch doesnt change the animals/monsters (ice golem, molerat and shadowbeast) dramatically. The ice golem looks darker and more "real", the texturesize of the molerat was doubled (26x256px -> 512x512px) and the shadowbeast is also darker, like a shadowbeast. Originally they all come from Gothic 2. :D

Here (http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/showthread.php?t=297224) is the link to the thread of this mod.It's a mod which adds some new weapons and a forge system.It also changes the loading screens,the chapter screens,the textures of armors and animals.
For example molerat isn't pink anymore.
EDIT:what about the other mod?the gothic reloaded mod.What can you say us about it?

Yes.And this mod is also combatible with freddy's patch.This is because freedy didn't changed armor or animals textures,and the oldflash did that.
example(maths:D)
so if freddy did 1 and oldflash did 2,then you can play with both
But if thiefhater did 1 and oldflash did 1,then you can't play with both

Is this mod compatible with "NoNameMod" ?Gothic reads and uses the data from the .vdf files with the newest date. Because my .vdf files have a newer time stamp they will be used. There wont be any "bugs" like my textures and the textures of oldflash are used on the same model on the same time. Simply my skin will be used, because my one has the newer time stamp. If the style of my skins (the Gothic 2 skins) fits the style of the skins of oldflash is your decision. But there wont be any crashes or something like that. ;)

By the way, the patch of oldflash is awesome. I like the most of his new armors.. but I dislike the reskinned animals. Theres no accounting for taste. :D

this patch does not modify the scripts.Only textures.so it's no language change

So you will make some better textures or more polygons on models ?Yes, improved/redone textures and models, the world will be improved (removing of UV mistakes, more polys) and some bugs will be fixed. But like I was sayin' I wont publish more informations, not now. :D


Is it only in german?The setup is available in german and english (you will be asked at the start of the setup). My patch only changes some textures. ;)

About this feature:

the air draft of all weapons is detachable
I don't understand what's the weapons' air draft...

OK.. let me explain.. if you make a move with a sword there is a small white line behind it. You know what I mean? Thats the air draft. ;)
And I hate this *g* so I made it detachable.

Can you give me a few details on your modification, so that I could add it to my modifications thread?

It should go like this:

Modification name: The name of the modification, in English if possible.
Modification homepage: The web page where you can find information on the modification (it doesn't matter in which language it is, but if you have an English page/pages please link those) (also state the language supported - in which you talk basically)
Modification forum: The forum (again, in whichever language it is) where you can talk about the modification. An English forum would be desirable. Also state the language of the forum.
Developer: The name of the developer/developers or team behind the project.
Created for: This can be Gothic, Gothic II Night of the Raven and Gothic III.
Details: A short description of the modification.
Status: This can be Finished, In Work, or In Work - Demo (that means you released a demonstration version of the modification).
Download location: The location where you can download the modification written as: [Modification Name v.x.y] (supported language)

Whats a bluesky addon?
An texture addon which changes the texture of the sky so it looks more clearer,more blue:D and with nice clouds.

Looks nice, but I bet you can really notice the difference in the actual game. I'll definitely use it the next time I play Gothic.

Always good to see a dedicated Gothic fan.
