gothic 1: where do i get world map ?

where can i get the world map? it seems i am walking around in circles.....

§welcome to the forum, you can find the maptraider in the f.ex. old camp right of the west gate.
And by the way, this thread is in the wrong section! it should be in "help" section.

here are some spoilers:

when you progress further in the game, an orc is gonna make a full version of the map - he's gonna fill the missing part of the map
