No, no, no... Dual swords is much better than one sword and shield. Think about it for a sec, the hero has not one, but two blades swinging at ya. And one can be use as a shield to block oncoming attacks too. I would much rather have two swords over beating my foes with a wooden shield any day. But then to each his own, lots of choices of what you want your hero to be.

You use both swords in G3. You're power strike (hold left mouse) with make you spin around with both swords. You can also do a stab with either arm depending on what food you start on.

Dual Handed is a very good style of fightning and very fast but I think that is better to use one-handed weapon style with a shield when you fight with multiple enemies that are using Two_handed weapons wich can do a lot of damage.

When with two weapons equipped you have to :

first off, it's a quest to learn master duel wielding (who's idea was that?). As said, you have to hold left-click or left-right-left-right. Shields are better against enemies with projectiles, but against enemies without projectiles, duel wielding's okay. Or there's large weapons, which mainly useful in the beginning of the game (for a halberd's range) or at the end of the game (ork weapons). Duel-wielding's good in varant, as you can meet hogar and get large 3 as soon as you enter nordmar.

When I played a ranger character i went for dual wield..sadly i never reached master level because I chose innos side. I took out most of the foes with my bow and when I had to get my hands dirty, there was nothing more satisfying than dancing through lines of orcs two blessed self forged bastard swords on my hands :D

with dual weild i can hold off and beat anything that doesn't sho from a distance if i have enough space. i hold left maose button and he swings around and stabbs. if the oponent blocks the first stab the second stab he blocks will take between a quarter of his life and 3 quarters. that means that i can beat an orc warrior out of 3 moves.
there are a couple of combinations:
- hold down the left mb for a sec and he will swing and stabb;
- hold down the left mb for half a second and he will do basicaly the same move but instead of spinning around with the 2 blades 2 times he will spinn only one time;
-the rest are basically the same moves u have at 1h w just adapted for 2 weapons.
2w is best( maybe because i could never understand how to block with a shield)
2 things i don't know: who teaches u master 2w and how do i kill an oponent that's lying on the ground

Well dual sword style is of course better . It does double damage and is double so fast ;) .

The main idea of the dual weilding is the style and the many choises for the player - but with two swords you do double damage and you are double fast it's the best choise when you fight many anemies at once. ;)

Btw. dual weilding is my favourite style in all games :cool:

I like dual wielding just because is looks cool and you can actually do flashy combos with them.

double damage? double fast? What game are you talking about. All you get is a cooler power attack. Not that I used power attack when I played the game anyway. If there is any speed increase it is only minor.

Yes, normal duel wield is almost completely useless. (I never tried master)

yeah, duel wielding just improves your power strike. Speed increase is minimal or nonexistant. I've preffered large weapons since i found out i could kill a cave troll with that ork axie thing. But duel-wielding does look cool.

Dual wield kick's ass cuz of the speed and great block plus u can fight hordes of enemies with dual wield and barely get a scratch on you. §danke §danke §danke

Dual swords are useful, but to its extent...

I don't know how one fights when being the master of two swords, but I personally believe first and foremost in the bow, and on the second place are two hand weapons, swords and axes. Only than dual swords find their place.:cool:

You can mix your fighting style with every weapon you want and furthermore it doubles the dmg and the coolness:cool:

I agree. Fighting with two weapons is like dancing with the swords. And you are very fast, when you have to do with many enemies. When you fight a single enemy, you just don't use your one hand.
Anyway, it's what you like most.

What's the advantages of MASTER Dual Fighting? You can attack faster or/and do more damage ? Because haven't play yet as an Hashishin. BTW Dual fighting is the best. When you are circled with enemies you do a swing with the two swords and open your way

No you are not faster but you do LOTS more damage!
Btw. you don't need to be a Hashishin to learn it just gain some rep. with them and in you go (Ishtar) ;)

some times I wish gothic3 had an online part to it so I could Duel other players from all over the world, like a area mode or some thing.

my dual weapons are the fire swords there just so cool.:D
