Install:
Run the Gothic3 Launcher english.exe
Install the Gothic3 Launcher In the Gothic3 Directory.
Standard is C:\Programs\Gothic3

Uninstall:
Run Gothic3 Launcher and press any Recover button, close Gothic3 Launcher.
Remove The Gothic3 Launcher.exe and the "Gothic3Starter" Folder from
your Gothic3 Directory

All buttons have tooltips
and a real english hoto will come when is´t done

It's a trojan and Avast! antivirus found it too.

Well, my AntiVir says nothing to it, but i'll ask around, till it's not sure that this download is "clean", it's link is removed.

When I downloaded it, it was packaged in an EXE. I scanned that and it showed negative. After letting it install and scanning the g3bloom.exe it extracted, it showed the trojan.
Maybe that is why yours didn't find it.

I just read about it also on the german jowood forum, seems that some anti-virus-software detect a trojan there, some not.

Anyway, it seems to me that it's possible that those a false-alarms, but since are things not clear, (maybe Loser676 can bring up an updated, without problems version of it) the download-link will be not published here, thx again for taking care. :)

SORRY for the troubles but is`t a false alarm!

The tool "Gothic 3 Bloom Changer" was written by Gothic_1_Mud and is a officially download from the German WOG download Section.

and there is NO Trojan!

If you don`t believe me simply delete the "G3Bloom.exe" in the folder "Gothic3Starter\Work\"

Thats probably all it is. I personally am not going to worry over it. Just delete the g3bloom.exe if you feel it's a threat or d/l from the new link Loser676 posted. There was a complaint in here last week or so about the same thing. Hell, I even have an old store bought (pressed, not a burnt copy) of Duke Nukem or maybe Shadow Warrior that some antivirus apps say has a virus on it. And maybe it does, who knows.

Edit: since it changes things around for the game some AV apps may see it as a hack tool and label it a trojan.
